Taupau

Some of you lot continue to embarrass yourselves with this whole rubbish about colours and names.
get over it, it doesn't mean anything of great importance.
If you get that upset over somebody saying the Tigers are black and gold I'd hate to see how you react to real tragedies.
All that energy you put into crying over something insignificant could be put to better use.

Stop acting like little children.
It's all Wests Tigers anyway.

As for Taupau, I thought after Johnson he was the 2nd best player on the field last night, ridiculously good game. Hopefully we see more performances like that one in 2015.

Johnson ,Taupau ,Bromwich ,SKD , Taumalolo,Vatuvei and Eastwood all were standouts for NZ

As for Australia Inglis , Jennings ,Smith and Thaiday were our best

Really noticed how slow Woods's play the ball were

I noticed Woody's play the balls being a it slow too, but I put it down to him being the only prop in the team for most of the tournament. Fatigue got to him big time.

Marty was awesome, glad he's ok. Johnson was extremely good, Benji 2.0 except appearing a lot more consistent.

So whats not important to you should be of no importance to everyone else?????

Riiiiggght :unamused:

Nothing to be embarrassed about by wanting our colours described correctly….

Fair to say this has been a breakout year for the guy, a consistently good year at the club and now a fantastic Test series.

If he wasn't on other clubs radar, he will be now.

Considering Milky's age i wouldn't think his post was intended to disrespect one side of the joint venture.

Taupau and Lodge are perfect examples of how to get marquee players at a reasonable price
WT 2 : Canterbury puddles 0

Nene MacDonald instead of SKD anyone ?

Go Tigers :sign:

My only problem with Martin Taupau is that he may not want to be a bench player….most players want to start but he is Brilliant off the bench -
I think Ava and Woods to start and Marty to add energy off bench

Tapou had a strong game ,and in the sense that there is no damage and he's all ok, it's too bad he didn't go off in the first half.
Rather have him fit and playing for us than get hurt badly playing for that mob.

"That mob"????

He was playing for his country and boy oh boy did he play. You can get hurt walking down the street.

Another biased, uninformed, speculative post

Bleeds black and gold, he loves the club and I cant see him leaving.

LOL….one day you'll wake up, nd maybe grow up too

That will be the day you act your own age mate

Milky. If you are going to say something please put your brain into gear before driving your mouth. You knew full well ( God I really hope so ) that what you were writing was going to cause some people to be a little upset. That includes me.

Marty Kapow plays for the Weststigers, not Balmain which does not exist any more.

God help you man

graham played off the bench majority of the 2012 season iirc.. however, went on to play 60 odd minutes off the bench.

i feel like the more minutes taupau plays, the less his impact.

taupau is in amazing form atm and credit where its due, it's his hardwork on his game, his fitness and his strength. but tbh i have a feeling this form wont last long.

Martin and that " mob" represented NZ. A very proud nation. It's an honour to be picked to play for your country. And Martin and the " mob" as you put it did themselves, their family, their clubs and their country proud. Using the word " mob" is very belittling.
