From what I recall. Penrith did the contract ripping up as a standards thing aside from the no fault stand down. Following that he was stood down from joining any other clubs.I'm a wee bit confused by the stand down policy, so he signed a new 1.2 million dollar 2 yr deal with the Panthers, once he was charged was it ripped up. Now the charges are dropped for whatever reason, he's lost 1.2 million dollars. Or do Penrith now have to financially honour the deal. How does it work. Atm as it stands he wasn't charged with anything today so is innocent. Yet still lost time in the game and a lucrative contract. Can anyone explain for me please.
Out of all the players hit by the no fault stand down he was hit the hardest. The rule was in place for players to train and retain their identity until a decision was determined in the courts.
