Family connections aside, could he be a decent utility on say $300k. I can barely remember him at the Panthers and have not watched him in the SL. However, I have heard he can cover a few positions and would probably help make our NSW cup team more competitive...most people don't like to lose week in week out so how many jr's are we losing because our Cup side is ordinary and when needed he could cover a few positions in first grade when we have the inevitable injuries.

The Mirandas were all good swimmers there old man was the manager of the balmain baths and they lived on top of the hill .Lee played third grade for the tigers also.

He would be pretty fit and would do him wonders to get some match fitness into his legs.
As a player he will want to play anyway so unless he has any injuries he should some game time.

Club would then assess how he is tracking over a few weeks and than make a call.

Oh there's no doubt Taylan is seriously inhinged, the real question is he actually a violent criminal (court says no, so far) and can he be relied upon to not have further off-field incidents.

I am sure that his friends and family would prefer Taylan take out some of his issues on the footy field, whilst living and training in a fairly strict environment, rather than wandering about the place with no fixed job or role.

Furthermore,

I think he's still with the female so that's still his father in law.

Also, the behaviour is worrying, as Braith says, that's why he's been in stood down, in rehab and facing the courts. No matter what Braith has heard, what we already know is enough to consider it worrying.

I know a bit about Taylan-not that I will repeat here.

And sure, I was going to burn the membership too.

Then I found out he’s trying to fix things. Because he wants to, nothing to do with court.

He’s having a go.

He’s not lying on the couch being a gangsta dog trying to justify any of it.

So long as he’s trying and playing it straight, I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

If he’s wanders off, fine we let him go, actually I’d insist on it.

Well he has previously been founded guilty of assault by a court. Indeed this latest one was his third assault charge.

Braith is totally on-board with WT now…

Peak NRL, circa 2004-06, bees knees is what this sport needs. Gouldfield was only good for getting NSW Blues fans fired up for another annihilation.

Chalk and cheese, Richo despises him for a reason, respect maybe but playing hardball you bet.

I've met Tiny a few times. I have a nephew that trains in the same environment who I also think could use a bit more help. You know those types that just make things uncomfortable because you just don't know how they'll take some things? My nephew, I think we're getting along great and next time I see him, he's a stranger. Seems to me people of a similar mindset seem to find each other somehow. Anyhow, my nephew trained with Tiny when he was fighting Lussick a couple of years ago. I've been around footballers and boxers all my life, but the vibe around that was just odd. I don't know, maybe I'm old school, but those boys have a different view on life.
 
Well the panthers sacked him, they’d had enough of the off-feild stuff.

But those protesting his engagement with us, it should be understood the NRL has given him the green light.

And if he’s not going to play footy for us, he’s going to play somewhere else.

And if he has the issues, I think his best chance to resolve them is probably with us especially with his brother about.
And hopefully the good decisions will trickle down into his personal life until it becomes a flood.

And we won’t go into the Fainu family history. That was crazy that incident.

But it’s not really us clearing the path, it’s the NRL.

Even the rabbits were after him, it’s not like no one will touch him.

I admire and respect the conscience in people, but this is not our fight.

And at any rate, us fans and members, we don’t have a seat on the Wests Tigers decision making table. We get consulted but our wishes can be binned in 2 seconds flat.

People on our forum are working to change that to their eternal credit.

That video tiny released before he went into rehabilitation was pretty concerning, really felt like he still wasn't grasping the situation his life is in.

We can only hope rehab has given him some perspective, and he fully appreciates the last chance he has been given by the nrl.

I think this is the perfect season to give him a shot, as expectations are low in terms of results. See how it goes.
