The Brisbane game is such a furphy. Sure they were understrength, but the 17 they put out on the day probably would have had more NRL caps and cost more than the 17 we put out. Our best player (Teddy) was also out.

Its good to be winning atm but I think our roster is good enough to have us comfortably sitting in the top 8\. Its taylors poor coaching that's had us struggling. We really should have won a few earlier games easily but lost them due to his poor player positioning and even poorer use of the bench. When you look at the top 8, our team easily has more potential than at least 4 of them. Even tho I do blame taylor for this and think he is a horrible coach, i'd still love him to prove me wrong.

You can't tell me there aren't people who'd rather see the team fail to feel vindicated about how they feel about Taylor rather than see us succeed and have to admit maybe they were wrong.

I can't stand JT and the sooner he's gone the better our team will perform imo, but I NEVER sit there and think to myself gee I hope we get flogged today so my opinion on JT proves right. I think the people you're talking about would be a real small minority and wouldn't be what you'd call real supporters more like bandwagoners I'd say.. Anyway I've enjoyed the last month from our boys and all I can hope for is that we keep seeing some improvement each week.. Like some have said lets just enjoy it while we are winning cause I hate the feeling I get when we aren't doing so well.

I don't think anyone on this forum really does Mac…. but all you need to do is jump on some of the FB fan pages to see them in their droves...I saw one the other day call for a CONTRACT to be put out on Taylor and that's after a win... :laughing:

Yeh that's why I removed myself from all those FB fan pages there isn't too much intelligent conversation that goes on there. Ahhhh where would we be in this modern day without social media.

So if we don't make the 8 and say end up in 9th,according to Steve,Taylor should be gone ?? Even though he has coached very young players to play to NRL standard and are now winning games by grinding out their games with solid defense and playing smart attacking football….well I can't see how he has been bad for the club,hard decisions had to be made,and he gets bagged out by people because we aren't in the top 8..he has taken us up the ladder to a better position than last year with young rookies and fringe first graders,,not to bad in my opinion...well done JT,you are the coach....

I think the season is too early to be heaping praises. I believe that he lost the locker room at least for 6 months (end of last year and beginning of this season) and now both sides are getting over it. He has about 10 more rounds for consistent performances by the team to show he deserves another year.

Off course he is better this year TT last year was the worst we have been since the amalgamation and guess who coached us last year?He is a very mediocre coach at best.If we dont get a 50% win rate and make the top 8 it will be another failure for him.
