A pretty good last month probably has a lot to do with it. Be interesting to see how his body language is after a bad month.

I also think he is starting to win a few critics over, with his handling of the team and his basic football philosophy. So I guess that makes him feel a little safer in his role. From where I sit the jury is still out, but in principle I agree with what he is trying to do, I just think he could have done things a lot better

One thing I have liked this year about Taylor is he has been a lot more real. Last year he was saying complete rubbish like the scoreboard did not matter the process did. And he was talking about abject losses as great perofrmances. This year he has been blunt the pressure is on we need wins and we need to climb the ladder. We are not happy with where we are sitting it is not good enough.

From a fan's perspective, they were a poor choice of words. Fans care about results with perhaps Taylor and his staff more worried about the performance and seeing if they players were learning. We are by no means on easy street and there is a long way to go, but hopefully the fan base can start to see the improvement in the culture of the team through results on the field.

I would expect fans of any club in the world to be unhappy with rubbish talk like that.

Yes we have won 3 from 4, but were still sitting in a pretty lowly spot on the ladder. If we can get into the Top 8 i expect even the most ardent critics to give credit where it is due.

We were never going to beat the Roosters in those weather conditions with the way they were playing combined with their kicking game

We struggle with the Chooks on a dry track containing their forward pack, had neville no chance on a wet wet wet track. Although I do think having Farah out there and kicking from dummy half would have been more effective given the conditions

The Brisbane game is such a furphy. Sure they were understrength, but the 17 they put out on the day probably would have had more NRL caps and cost more than the 17 we put out. Our best player (Teddy) was also out.
It was a good performance and a strong win, especially away from home.

edit: I'm sad enough to work it out - we actually had ~150 more FG caps, so it was a close run thing. Point (kinda) still stands.
