Taylor Faces the Media

It is pretty simple really. If Robbie wants to be considered for selection again, then he needs to modify his style of play to fit into the plan that Taylor is advocating.

Robbie's attacking style worked well for us in the past, but now we have many more attacking options and all Robbie needs to do is provide a quick service from dummy half to Brooks and I have no doubt that his position in the team will be secure.

This makes perfect sense. Robbie should provide slower poorer service than what he currently provides. He should also definitely not try and create any opportunities for us.

That sounds like Taylor's plan.

If you were in Robbie's position would you do that ? I know I wouldn't. I'd say stuff this I'm going to play to the best of my ability each week and contribute as much as possible to the team winning games.

This is what is bizarre about this situation. We have had some terrible service from all the options excluding Robbie that we've had at dummy half.

Taylor's plan is to run the game through the halves and Tedesco. He wants the 9 to be a distributor. It's simple.

No where near the same amount of news articles this year compared to last.
I dont think too many people outside of west tigers give a stuff about it.

I follow a couple of general RL pages on Facebook, and it's just another story really. It's a big deal to us, but i don't think we've been painted in too bad of a light. Plus, there haven't been any articles slamming the club over it.

Yeah, I think there way more articles about Dene Halatua's retirement. Not the circus from last year. People dont seemed shocked, like they expected it.
Ayoub if probably sick of it too.

This just shows you have no idea of a team environment.
Everyone must be on tha same page

But youre spot on about farah…hes running his own race, playing his own game, as you say its all about robbie and stuff the coach and the team

Its why hes been dropped

I'll be clear in that I expect the team to all be on the same page. That page is winning games. I think the only one not on that page is JT. He has a personal feud going on with Robbie.

All your comments about Farah to me sound like fairy tales.

I doubt there is a personal feud, Farahgate has being going on long before Taylor arrived at the joint. I honestly believe Taylor thinks the 6 and 7 are better players when Farah is not on the field and he maybe right. The only trouble is our dummy half work is basically shot, any d/h kicking game is gone and we loose our second best defender in a team. So what you gain in one hand you give it all away in another hand and some

I wonder if any of this would be an issue, if wests tigers were sitting higher up on the ladder.
Dropped 4 points in losing golden point to the storm and bulldogs.

If we were leading the comp Taylor could basically do what he likes. Unfortunately this is far from reality and we will be lucky if we make the 8\. What is his Played/Win/Loss stats at the Wests Tigers as coach?

2015 win 8 lose 16- 33%
2016 win 7 lose 10- 42%
not exactly a ringing endorsement of his coaching ability(apologies if my maths is wrong)

So the less games Farah plays the better our win percentage.
Thanks for the breakdown.

They're your stats.
Farah's winning percentage this year is worse than taylors. Another stat.

For god sakes pay the man $1 Million an be done with it..

Can't imagine what this doing to the development of Moses and Brooks.. JT is convincing them to focus on external factors/others as against teaching them to take responsibility and ownership, these two will always be average under Taylor.

As for Robbie it's rather simple;

1) JT should tell him to play the dumb dummy halve and play defensive, I'm sure if JT was serious Rob would follow through..

2) Break the contract and get rid of him..

And as for personalities, so I've been told Brooks is a little tosser.. He'll lets get rid of him too..

What's that about winning games steve..

When the Origin hooker suits up on game day, the Tigers are winning just 33 per cent of their games, with three wins and six losses for the season.
>
When he’s in the stands the Tigers get over the line in a much improved 50 per cent of their games — winning four and losing four.

Please here we go again stats, please!
Which games and who was the opposition???
Comparisons are poor with this whole thing, it's not a fair call. Without that info!
Also Farah had an injury when he came back, did he take time to pick his firm up?
Tigers also won 3 out of the last 4 games when Farah played. The game they lost was against the dogs when he was knocked out after 20 minutes!
Ask anybody, were the tigers lose games. Defence, what did Taylor tell the board he would fix, defence!!!! We are second last in defence….
And he has the ordacity to say Farah stuffs our attack, wake up muppets!

I know steve likes his attack stats too With Robbie 18ppg without 24ppg…Defence concede less points without...

Taylor couldn't tell enough people while we were losing that it would all work out when his defensive plans were in place.
Well heading into round 20 our defence is the second worst in the NRL, and we are leaking more points per game than last year, we have not progressed at all, we have in fact gone backwards, damn you Robbie.

Taylor basis his coaching style on statistics and figures, this Process with Rob is called manipulating the facts in order to achieve his own personal agenda. Taylor deliberately dropped Rob for this Sunday's game as St Georges form is the second worse in the Comp leading into this weekends game, Taylor knows that even without Rob the Tigers will beat the saints this weekend, and of course JT will rub it in with his statistics and come out and how we won again without Rob..

Anyway statistics mean nothing without success, the fact is and will remain reality..

God forbid we pull out JTs coaching stats, JT is running on %37 win ratio at the Tigers.. C ya later if we don't win this weekend..

Sorry geo but again against who.
Seems funny to me as we got pumped and our biggest losses of the year by the raiders, roosters and the dogs twice when Farah didn't play….

@gallagher said:
Our defence is bad but dropping Farah won't affect that either way.

No it won't but the scarecrow is telling everyone it's stuffing up our attack which is now important, apparently!!
Funny again saying he wants the half to get early ball, yet et is now a go between from the hooker to the halfs…. Not really getting the ball earlier, are they!
Not that I think et isn't doing a great job, just the scarecrow spinning again.
