Taylor / Farah

I think a much stronger pull is that the WT have to do good in the early games surely he has that message. How can he expect employment after his footie days if he goes slack. Actually I think Jason still needs him on the field directing and pushing the players a bit, I won't be surprised if it happens. Does Woods hold the correct position to be in the thick of it?

And proof in the pudding didn't he play for WT with a crook shoulder from SOO - so give him due credit.

That was the day he refused to follow Taylor's instruction re where to play after we had a centre injured during the match?

Was it because he had already broken his hand?

Yeah….not that reliable.

I keep trying to reach your level of reliability Simon , but no luck just yet

Crazy how someone whose been on the forum for only 3 or 4 months has pre conceived opinions of people and takes a disliking to certain posters isn't it. Almost as if he's been here before.

I bet its killing him to have to be so placid too.

Yep, that was when he sent a message through the trainer that his hand was broken , and he wouldn't be any good defending in the centres, whereas he could at least get his body in front of them in the middle.
Who would know better than the player ? if he was physically okay to be tackling in the harder centre position?
This red herring was put to bed early in the Farah / Taylor drama
Was a nothing then , and even less now.

We know that Benji was helping Robbie to have a soft landing at another club but behind the scenes Benji may have been warning Robbie " listen mate I have no contract yet stick it out over there or you will be redundant"

spoke to a former first grader last night and he stated that it was shocking how they treated Farah about moving on, he thought that Farah still plays excellently and had loyalty to the club for decades. So it was the correct decision to keep him just for the club's reputation so that future champs will have a decent view of the club and consider us seriously for long term and not just as a stepping stone. (the ex-player blamed previous administrations for contract backending stuff up)

Regret bringing up after a win but looks like that still we need him as well for that second half last night
.

I have been a huge Farah fan in this debate. And I think keeping him has helped morale with the players and most the fans.

Mainly the way it was handled i thought was very poor form by Taylor and the Tigers.

However if we can come out and win our first 3 without Robbie Taylor will hold the aces. As Robbie will have to play really well to hold his place. It would be a win/win situation for the club.

It really would be a good story if they actually both got on and led us to the finals this year The papers would not no what to say.

This is how I see the season playing out also. You could see the joy and Robbie face watching the boys do their thing on Saturday. He wants to be a part of this and the fact he'll be behind the rest of them by the time he plays he will have to be damned good to fight his way into the team and stay there. He'll be hungry which only benefits the squad as a whole.

Repeating, since Taylor was big enough to publicly apologise to Farah, Farah now must give his best in return, and going by those trial games he did so. We seem on the right track just keep fingers crossed and we can all become buddies again.

Some are so determined to make sure this crap stays a discussion point aren't they. And this is after a win. Imagine after a loss.
