Taylor no longer sole selector

good point Gallagher. It is hard to say who replaced Sirro in the state of affairs that we are in. If Sirro had a leader - we wouldn't be talking about this. To err is to be human and to grow.

So our next run of losses will be buckets fault?

We are talking about selections here. Picking the best 17 available on form.

Have selections improved the last month simple yes or no?

Yes they have. To be fair though I think Taylor's selections haven't been bad until there is an injury. I think his biggest problem is poor game plans.

maybe steve - but I'm still believer in mental aptitude - hence Kiwis' beating the Aussies in the last few years - Australia better team - New Zealand come to play - same applies to us

Taylor a young kid?

Its hard to say who replaced Siro. I erred on the low side. You could say it was ET and if that the case then JT could hardly pick ET from Penrith. Debunking this selection improvement stuff.

Lets be real about this.

Felise, Lovett and Aolai would have been easier to drop and were behind Sirro in the pecking order at the start of the year.Sirro was picked in the City Origin side (i know that is not saying much but it is a supposed Rep team)

For Siro to be be dropped ahead of one of these was a statement which is unusual for our club.

Its a selection improvement based on form and performance.

Something that should have been happening for years here.

Maybe that is part of it but you'd think that players would learn from that or if it's not an individual thing it's up to the coaching staff to get them up for the game.

And i agree. He should have been dropped earlier. But i don't think that's enough to say taylors selections have improved greatly. Siro gone isn't s massive change in the team, although a good one.

I know I'm in the minority - but under a different coach Sirro could be anything - but under taylor - I'm with you guys - GNR was always right about this - I was wrong - hope you forgive GNR - I'm doing my best

I just went through this again and there are some biggies here aren't there.

Taylor will definitely not be here in 2018

I really hope Robbie goes as well and they get a good coach.

when he truly gets match fit for 1st grade you won't believe what he is capable of. He has made every member of our entire squad look second rate in training with his attacking prowess

We can see it now. He needs to be offered more money.

Do not believe the prophets of gloom and doom with hidden agendas this is now a club prepared to be accountable both on and off the field and all alibis for failure will be withdrawn from next year!
New board has reaffirmed top 4 kpi for next year / minimum 50% win rate remains kpi for this year.

This is interesting. I'd love to see us make the 8 this year and the top 4 next year. I think we have potentially a squad that can do that. JAC would need to be retained. Brooks and Moses would need to improve. We'd need some luck with injuries. It's definitely possible though.

I reckon Siro could be a special player as well. I'm not going to blame Taylor for Siro not kicking on but I do think Siro needs to find his spot somewhere. Maybe State cup will be good for him.

Sirro is a lazy lump of cow dung and was demoted because of it.
For the first time in years I am happy with this clubs direction.

When was the last time someone indentured in the first 17 was "sacked."

We had Benji benched, but who was actually last to be dropped to state cup?
