Too old , too slow , too emotional , poor passing game , poor last tackle options .
Yes he's been a great clubman / captain / leader / makes 60 tackles a game …but to sign any player on a 5 year deal will come back to bite you @ $900k.
So do you rate Cherrington ???
I do , he's quick , great passing game . Yes he did go missing slightly in the second half but as previously posted he's the heir apparent to Robbie .
Does this mean he takes a back seat for 2 more years ??
No wonder our roster is such a shambles !
Bloody Farah - cost us the game again! :unamused:

At least he provides options on the opposite side of the ruck which takes some pressure off tha ball carrier
If you can forgive the ruck penalties. How long does he lie there?
Way too long , it's as if he suffers from micro sleeps !
Santi isn't much better.

However, I fear that you will not change the stance of the haters on this forum.
Haters is a very harsh and ironically judgemental word. I don't think there are many haters at all on this forum. Members are only trying to express their frustration at the way they see things. without meaning any harm to anyone.

The minute the WT's defence becomes a strength this whole comp better stand up and take notice
@hobbo2803 said:Wow Taylor must be working them too hard with the defensive drills …. What a rabble !!!!
Problem is if we get the spoon and then finish 15th next year all the Taylor fan boys will say we've improved ...
If we finish 15th the Taylor fan boys will say Taylor did great , we avoided the spoon !

Never thought it would come to this at the start of the season. We started so well, then…we kinda just fizzled out. :bawling

@hobbo2803 said:@goldcoast tiger said:Well at least we are almost back to where we were , before Taylor stifled the life out of the team . We can at least do some attacking as long as Teddy ( mainly ) and Kev and Marty is getting plenty of ball,, also Ava put in tonight. And Halateau had a great first half .
Our defence is still s***. We can tackle for short periods but then the butt falls off again , like always
Parra's first try was our usual gift that we usually give to any team that wants it , and their fsecond was a result of Moses , who considerately rushed up and then did a great impression of a revolving door . Semis first one was the result of us Wanting to be spectators.
Thank god that Parra,s handling in the second half was as bad as ours.
How good Tedesco really is , is unlikely to be known unless we have a miracle, or a change of players and coach, or makes the rep sides , as he is being held back in this team by the lack of good players around him,
Have we hit last place yet or is there still further to fall
We have too many plodders and nuffies on our books IMO .
Galloway
Milone
Santi
Moses
Lovett
Buchanan
Richards
Hoeter
Sirro
Farah
All need to go … Maybe Moses would get a gig at another club but would any other club sign any of the rest ???
IMO ... NO !

I'd be interested in that answer too
Robbies been tied up in a few rep games lately , like the other best players in Nsw and qld, but no doubt he'd probably be interested in that answer as well
I didn't seen in miss any tackles tonight, or drop any balls or rush up out of the line and cost us a try. .
But yes, he's definetly our problem. , maybe you should alert Loz as well, cause he probably doesn't know that either.

How many times has anyone said that over the last 10 yrs, I hope you are right too happy, but there's been nothing that I've seen to believe that JT has a hope in hell of changing that .
We have (with some exceptions ) always been a team that could get themselves up for a big defence effort, two or three times a season and that's it. It's going to take a better Coach and a stronger personality , Who can get the best out of the players he has.
I can't believe that this is the best that some of these blokes can play, and if it isn't, then there is deeper problems than just that we are being beaten by the other cellar dwellers of this Comp on a regular basis.
With the Broncs, roosters, and the Warriors, all coming up in the coming weeks , this season is not going to get any better
If things go the way they look, we will to be going into the 2016 season far worse than we started this season

Curious to hear about what you think the changes have been, or should be, for positive vs negative football? In other words, what do you think has changed in our game plan recently, what actually is Taylorball vs controlled positive footy?
What the first half today. We are actually attacking now. It makes a huge difference. Its not Taylor ball any more.
We are having a go and its great to watch.
Our defence still isn't great but that is okay because teams will score points against us. You need to play both aspects of the game - attack and defence.
So when we attack and it works, first half, it is not Taylorball any more.
When we attack second half and it doesn't work, has it become Taylorball again?
Or is it only Taylorball when we lose?
I am struggling to see these games where we consistently don't attack, I am struggling to see where we lose because we fail to score enough tries. Stop living in the North QLD game, that was ages ago.
You must realise we have scored 20.4 points on average in our last 5 games and lost 4/5\. We are 18.3 points per game all season - is this not enough points to win at least half your games?
I don't think we have played Taylor ball in a while. He has gone away from that because it doesn't work. I think my post was fairly clear on that. I'm not sure what you didn't get. I posted that comment at half time. I assume that you misread my post.
I also think its pretty clear that our defence is poor and we can all accept that Taylor was just spinning crap when he stated our defence was improving. We are well down the bottom of the ladder with regards to our defence. I'm not going to crucify him for that. I am going to state that he has been spinning crap to the fans and some fans bought it when they shouldn't have.
Our issues to me are pretty clear. We need more pace out wide as a first point. We need to get rid of Richards and work on Naiqama under the high ball. Then we need a centre or two to back-up Nofo and Simona however I don't believe that is critical. You could also buy a centre and play Nofo or Simona on the wing.
If we can get Brooks and Moses firing and we fix our outside backs I think we can be a decent team with the assumption that Taylor doesn't revert back to Taylor ball.
