Te Maire Martin

In the interview i read about Te Maire, he mentions that he came close to signing with the Cowboys, so he could learn from the best. But Gould, convinced him to joint the Panthers instead. When asked about his lean frame, he replied " But they're good here. After the gym you're taking Protein and my body's only going to get better from now on.
They're organised and professional around here. They're on top of nutrition and diet and all that stuff"
Hmmm, wasn't he taking his Protein while with us? Is this a little dig at WT?

Akaoula had a sad because he was asked to play in the halves. Awesome excuse to dump on the club.

It is a recurring theme though, usually it's a dig at the S&C department. I must admit I thought we're on the right track with that though, we appeared to have less injuries and players seemed to return earlier last year.

He has moved from a Part Time NYC squad with us to full time NRL squad at Penrith, so you would expect the quality of training/S&C to be quite different.

He sounds like a kid chucking a tantrum in this article, not painting himself in the best light at all.

Penrith have just signed Nathan Cleary for three years, and will no doubt use Moylan in the halves in the not-too-distant future. So by no means is Martin a lay down to claim a spot in the 17 at the Panthers.

Coach Taylor never rated him!! The kid can play and how the blazes we didn't keep him is yet just one more joke how OUR CLUB is run!!! Offered MORE, NOW then Moses!!! Gould knows talent he put the big ones in to get this kid!!! Coach Taylor goes and signs ANOTHER 31 year old hooker!! The kid could play centre/fullback…

Moses was signed before Taylor even started at the club you pelican.

Gus would give us back Te Maire for Moses any day of the week
- As well as throw in Sowie, Wallace and Cleary!!

I can see both sides. Yes, the facilities we have are embarrassing, that's been well known for a few yrs. But for a kid like him who hasn't even proven himself to be laying the boot in is a bit much.
 
Amazing how the Panthers can sign their Aust Schools five eighth for 3 years (even though his father has left the club) and add the Junior Kiwis five eighth to the roster. This is in addition to their fullback who will make a good half himself.

They also signed Zach Docker-Clay who is pretty handy as well. Throw in Tyrone May who will be in first grade some where before too long there is plenty of competition for sports.

My view is that Martin is talented and will probably play first grade. I think Moses and Brooks are alot better.

There is a good reason why every man and his dog has been praising Brooks and Moses their whole lives, cause they are very very good.

Cleary is the polar opposite to Martin, he is in the Cooper Cronk or dare I say Jason Taylor mould of computer like decision making and great organisational skills. Not saying he will be as good as either (in fact I dont think he will), but in theory a Cleary/Martin combination would be a nice mix in 2017or18 …. a lot will happen between now and then!
