Think Blore Musgrove and Joe O will all start,and the pack will be more intimidating than last year despite the loss of Aloai
Harry is a huge loss though..almost irreplacable
Momo shld start and will do a good job
Mybe the weak link at the back under the high ball.No other options atm
Net net...loath to say it,but were about the same as 2020 unless Brooks/Douhi/Liddle and Joey L ALL step up from 2020..and they may well do so

This is a 25% better forward pack.JO and Tamou state of origin and aust reps will be a massive influence on our young forwards,and add the steel we missed.Aloi was not a leader. Plus Bore had limited game time and we have the huge Steffano .The pressure on the side to perform is immense with 12 players off contract and some amazing juniors in the wings.Plus experienced development and performance coaches ,.I think FB and a question on the halves is well founded, but this is a far better side.

There is no universe where Walters is a + over Lawrence.

Having said that, if those two teams played each other. On the day, either team could win.

If they played each other each week over a season , 2021 wins.

Agreed - Besides, Lawrence has retired and Walters is retired hurt, won't play until late mid season if at all.

I think our backs and forwards are much stronger in 21. Even our halves have potential to be stronger. Consistency is my only worry in the halves. 9 is the big one, liddle is good but this will be our biggest loss on the roster. I back mybe to fill in at fullback. More
Meters and some ball playing will make
Him more effective for us.

The backs have more ??? On them than ever.
Roberts hasn’t played for a while
BJ was terrible last year
Fullback we are stuffed
AD at 5/8th will have many downs and ups if the forwards don’t fire
Lids has struggled to play

We have done very well recruiting but still key spots we have large unknowns with which are critical to winning & losing.

I do see more points in us, the defense is going to be our key next year as the team on paper doesn’t fill me with confidence based on form (backs)

Defence will indeed be a key upside in 21..with no Benji there are no weak links in the "system",and with plenty of back up quality forwards were not gonna tire up front like we did at end 2020

Ok guys seen a lot of negativity in here lately about the team for next year, I have put together a projected lineup and compared it to the team that lined up most of 2020.Obviously there will be some conjecture about who will lineup and where there will be improvement,also if Laurie comes in or another signing possibly as well.I have based my ratings on players improving the team or not through fitness,experience at the club,and either offering more or less than the player they are replacing from 2020.Would be glad to hear what people think and any constructive feedback,I see many positives in the players that have been recruited and others improving more in 2021

Better Squad than 2020 in the forwards and bench rotation.
Defense will need to be better.
Still missing experience in the spine and a fullback option.
Thereabouts around the 8 again might miss out or go close, expectations are 2022/23 now Madge's contract has been extended, Team seems happy in photos and like that Tamou came back early for training.

All positive news this off season so a big plus whatever the team is the players will earn there spot as there is competition in a number of positions, except maybe fullback.

I think the most part our improvement is going to come through the middle - forwards need to make more metres and the team as a whole needs a better attitude in defence and show some much needed defensive linespeed. I am confident the forward pack will make more metres, it's the defensive line speed that's the main concern and has been since 2010-11.

Walters or preferably Mbye if Laurie comes would be well used as a utility off the bench,can cover multiple positions,I didn’t understand some of Madges team selections this year,especially having both Lawrence and Cheekam on the bench at the start of the year.

I'm expecting a big improvement in defence.

I feel our defence fell off a cliff when Benji came back in the team for 2 reasons:
1. Benji wasn't up to the defensive side and was regularly getting out paced, and the rest of the right side had no confidence in him
2. Benji's high risk low reward style meant we had to defend more than usual

AD will have his own defensive issues, but I think that will improve over the season. If whoever is playing left wing can hold their own and handle kicks as well as not rushing in too early, I think this area will improve. Tamou is also a much better defender than Aloiai.

Would challenge a lot of 1st gde sides,especially in the attack department,1,6,7,9 are all better balanced then our top team,with experience i expect at least 6 to be in 2022 team.
