alot of people are naming Utai in their teams… has he recovered?

anyone?

I think people are going off the idea that Utai was 4 weeks away 3 weeks ago, champ.

so with the bye, then the parra game, thats five weeks - If everything is to plan, he'll be back against Parra, and we haven't heard anything to the contrary.

Koroibete has no idea how to take a high ball and has major defensive issues this all comes from inexpirance ..he has strenght, speed and ability but lets not get carried away ..Maybe Mid next season for a few runs .Robert Lui is not NRL standard is this getting though guys.

He is good enough. Who has he got to beat? Brown and Ryan, pleeese.

I am guessing his arm has improved, but I doubt his defensive abilities have improved.

Seriously, we cannot have him in the side if two of either Tiquiri, Ryan and Brown are available.

Assuming Dwyer, Fulton, Payten and Lote are all out

5\. Koroboite (left wing outside Lawrence. This guy is raw but he is lighting quick and skillful. We need a player with pace outside Lawrence. I would play him their to Lote is back)

The people calling for Tedesco, it is just too early for him but for mine he is our long term full back.

I have watched Koroboite since he came into 20's and he seems to grow in confidence each week resulting in him scoring 3 tries last week. He makes the tough stuff look easy..but like most wingers he has a mistake or 2 in him.
At one stage during the year I didn't think he knew how to pass the ball..but a couple of weeks ago he gave Tedesco a great offload for one of his tries. I would give him a go.

And on Tedesco agree no doubt seen as the future No.1 but..right now his just a kid we should probably wait at least till he starts shaving.

Payten and Lote aren't expected back until 2 weeks after the game against Parra.

At this stage the Tigers are looking to promote him to the fulltime squad in 2013, subject to change of course.

I am surprised that they will wait to 2013 with him. For mine he should be training with first grade from the start of pre season training.

He for mine looks the goods, I think he will play NRL next year.

I agree. I don't see how you can have a set date in the future for when a player may be considered for the first team. If a player is playing well enough then he should be considered. That being said i wouldn't throw him in yet, i'd let him work on improving the areas he needs to improve in the nyc first, as these flaws in his game would be more brutally exposed in the nrl, and could dent his confidence. But if he continues to learn quickly then he could be ready for the nrl in the not too distant future!

No doubt Koribete will be one of our wingers within a year or two ..he is very raw with talent to burn lets hope it works out for him he looks an exciting prospect…the adjustment to being away from family and friends in a new country and living in the big smoke for the first time is more than enough at present for the young man to cope with..

Does it matter who we pick? as they say lotti will be back in 4 weeks but have heard nothing Rowdy could be back this week & have heard nothing, Utai should be back this week & have heard nothing & Benji should be back this week & have heard nothing so who knows?.

I think minimum Benji and Lawrence back and already the team looks bolstered. Having AYshford and Lawrence back as the centre pairing adds some desperately needed strength to our fringe defense.

Lote and Utai would be bonuses, and I don't think Lawrence will be brought back underdone…. I think we were expected to beat the dogs this week and that is why he wasn't played.
