for last years trials sheens played 2 young blokes who weren't named:

against Shellharbour Roqica and Lui played

against Roosters Alan Shirnack and Willie Matake played

3 of the 4 played firsts that year. so will be interesting to see is anyone else gets a run

Pretty much as expected. I'm surprised there isn't another front/second rower on the bench. There are 2 backs, 1 hooker & 1 lock replacement. Maybe Sheens plans to play Flanagan out of lock?

Toupu must still be injured? I didn't see his name listed in either trial.

Suprised no Arana or Lazarus, Flannigan must have really impressed in the trial

Maybe this is our first NRL sanctioned trial match in regards to being able toserve suspensions hence no Bryce

Looks like the team that will start Rd1.

It's amazing how much less potent removing Tuiaki and Tuqiri from the team sheet makes us look. I really like our forward pack and interchange though!

I'm excited to see the new blokes out there! Especially Cayless, who i thought was struggling to make round 1….

I'm Suprised, like most I'd imagine that Arana isn't there. I didn't expect him to start the season in the top 17, but thought he'd definitely be given a shot in the trials.

Forward seems very understrength with Todd & Liam starting. Looking forward to seeing Moors, Cayless & Flanagan go round. Schirnack deserves a real chance this season. Not a fan of Brown on the wing. He is a fullback, nothing else.

That Roosters pack is full of monsters. On paper they actually look really strong. A lot of up and comers on their bench. Martin Kennedy is class.

And AJ, Lazarus, Fifita, Mullaney, Gower, Pritchard etc are all still a chance. Sheens will add a few more to the bench before kickoff.
