Team for next round?

Same team 1-17.

Would like to see Groat named in State Cup. Think it'd be more beneficial for his development the NYC.

Would also like to see Utai named as a bench forward in State Cup. He could end up being the ideal bench back for us if he can handle playing in the forwards for 10-15 minute burst.

If Cashmere and/or Moors are dropped for Groat then it confirms everyone's thoughts that Sheens picks on favourites and not on form.

No need for confirmation again. Most coaches have their favourites.

Miller would be a first grader with 30 games under his belt at many other clubs.

Obviously he is Not a favourite. And If he is so good why did the Roosters let him go ?

I hope Lote does play for BRET, he needs something.
I'm assuming the BRET team announcement today will be nothing like the 17 that actually run out.

There will be some tough questions to answer in a weeks time…

Humble at least has shown his utility value should guarantee him a position.
Reddy played his best game, yet Ayshford didn't let anyone down.
Utai should be back from injury and we know how much Sheens likes his running meters.
It seems Marika is also ready and we are lacking something on the left side in attack.
Will Groat come back via the 20's or who will make way?

If we pick the same bench Watto , we don't need Utai's running metres

Big question in my mind If Lawrence's injury could be solved by rest do we play Ayshford and Reddy and rest Rowdy for the next 2-3 weeks , maybe he fails the fitness test today and he could get a month off ????

Mate you dunno whats wrong with lawrence, it may be something requiring surgery…if it is no rest will help.....no point guessing.

We poached him big time. Signed him up on a reasonably large contract for an untested kid. He wasn't let go. He also wanted to come here because he saw a chance to play in the halves here and with Anasta, Carney and Pearce at the Roosters at the time he felt he had no chance to crack it. Irony.

The surgery idea doesn't make sense imo Unless he got the injury in the first 6 rounds (and there hasn't been any sign on the field that he got an injury on the field that I have seen ) that he had it either from the 4 Nations or was carrying it at the end of last season

If that is the case why would he have not had off season surgery ??

Maybe carrying a few niggling injuries, but I think he is down on confidence and form. :frowning: :frowning:
It Doesn't help when you play 10 different positions in one game

One thing for sure, I will never ever bag the guy, he has always given his all for this club, he should get a thousand chances to get going again :sunglasses: :sunglasses: 8-

What we did contact work :unamused: We contacted the bar to make sure it was open and we went ,we drank , we got comatosed

Oh no I get it Easts ,totally forgot go play grabarse for an hour and the spend some alone time in the showers

Even then Watto they still had time to get whatever surgery was required and have him back by July

We do have some depth in the centres Why risk our best outside back ??

Moors clutched at his knee a couple times during the game, possibly an injury..

Or maybe he's just a chronic knee clutcher … had a mate like that years ago; ended up in all sorts of strife ... then again he did tend to clutch at other peoples knees. Bit of counselling and he should be right.

Exactly. Which is why I fear he'll also move on unless he is certain to be in our plans. I would love to know exactly what Payten/Sheens/WT think of him. Humble is going OK but I think long term Miller offers so much more.

Totally agree with you barra in my opinion I think Jacob Miller would offer more attacking flair and is a better organiser than Tom Humble who does try hard & is a great utility to have on the bench.

Looks like the Mole has struck again!

The Mole ‏ @RLW_Mole - Sandow won't be alone - Moley hears M-Masilla, B Ayshford, M Utai and Big Ray CASHMERE will play NSW Cup for Balmain @tigers1908 this week

I dont see why it's such a big fuss that players are playing in NSW Cup this week…

Firstly, it's not a bye week. We have that in a few weeks time. Secondly, most teams have some players in any of the rep teams this week, so if they're playing, most should have a run somewhere.

These players aren't getting 'dropped'. They're merely keeping up their match fitness.
