Team for next week (It's never too early)

I'll be buggered if the red carpet is rolled out for Dean Collis to walk straight back into the team.

Surely not. From what I've heard, Collis was average on the weekend in Reserve Grade. Ayshford is holding his own in both facets. Doesn't mind getting in the face of his opposition and Lawrence, well, the Man-Child's form speaks for itself. Class. Both players pick themselves. I am enjoying Ayshford's progression and development week by week.

My team. I am not sure if Lawrence is injured and if Skando will get suspended. Also im not sure if Heigho and Sauce are ready. For the purpose of the exercise I will pick this side on the pretense that Skando gets a week on the sidelines and Heigho, Sauce and Lawrence are ready. (This is a mixture of the side I want and the side I think Sheens will pick)

1\. Shannon Gallant
2\. Taniela Tuiaki
3\. Blake Ayshford
4\. Chris Lawrence
5\. Dean Collis

6\. Benji Marshall
7\. Tim Moltzen

8\. Bryce Gibbs
9\. Robbie Farah
10\. Todd Payten
11\. Gareth Ellis
12\. Danny Galea
13\. Corey Payne

14\. John Morris
15\. Keith Galloway
16\. Chris Heighington
17\. Daine Laurie

Havent seen replays of it yet but I think Skando may be on the sidelines next week.

I dont think it is worth a holiday myself though who knows with this topsey turvey judiciary.

I was at the game and sitting far away from the screen so didnt see any decent replays but it looked nasty. Apparently Sheens said in the post match that Skando doesnt have much to answer to and should be okay.

There was nothing in it, it was just lazy, he may get charged but i think he'll escape suspension if he does get charged anyway.

I can't believe how many supporters are calling for this to happen. no,no,nonono

After reading all these id say the topic starter got it spot on!

Those saying we should put Collis in the team cant be serious. Changing the combination there will leak tries against Manly. Leave the backline alone….PLEASE!!!!

Only concern is with bringing back 2 potentially unfit players in Galloway and Heighington in the same round against quality opposition. They should be there but if we give easy ball to Manly and need to defend more than 50% of the time we will be tired in the final 15 minutes.

1\. Gallant
2\. Tuiaki
3\. Ayshford
4\. Lawrence
5\. Ryan

6\. Marshall
7\. Moltzen

16\. Laurie

If Galloway is back I would name Schirnack instead of Laurie.

With blood nut we gain the size we have been lacking and for mine Schirnack offers a far more sound option especially if he and Skando are rotated in at the same time. They can grind out the hard times in the middle and keep the defensive line sured up

I would stick to a winning formula. So the same 13 would take the field for me
my bench would look like this

14.Morris (He's going to kill it at the sharks. He's finnaly being used properly)
15.Galloway (only if 100% & i would ease him back into it.Shirnak or Laurie if not)
16.Heignington (only if 100%.I cant see how he can be but.Dwyer in if not)
17.Skandalis (Takes early guilty plee)

Glad someone agrees with me. That looks like an awesome bench.

who-ever does get picked for the squad, play like there is no tomorrow, and " give it to those tails".
:smiling_imp: :imp:
spill sea-eagles blood.
its time for some payback for the butt kicking they gave us near end of last season.
physically beat the wind out of them, and when they get it back, do it again, and again, and once more for old times sake.

The same team as BB picked........This will be the best team named so far this season

Dean Collis WHY…...The bloke has a proven track record of working his way back from injury generally takes 5 or 6 games to find his feet....well that's all we have left.....

If Ryan has to go why not give a young fella a shot who will at least be with the club next season.....Let Collis come back through Wests..... if his form warrants it and he is absolutely carving up at that level which he should.... then by all means bring him back at the backend where we may need him more...

Geez Sheens gets the tripe bagged out of him for having his favourites and some want to change a side that has gelled in the last month or so.....oh well gives everyone something to critisize about 4 this afternoon....
