I don't know how anyone can have Dwyer in their side after the last two weeks. He has been absolute rubbish. A plethora of bad reads in defence with missed tackles and alot of just plain stood up and let run by tackles. He made one run worth a pinch of anything.

Daniella made some very good reads and some very poor reads without having much traffic sent his way. If Lui is back he gets the bench spot for mine. Brown should be the winger if Ryan remains out IMO.

Anywho

1\. Wade Mckinnon
2\. Lote Tuquiri
3\. Blake Ayshford
4\. Chris Lawrence
5\. Beau Ryan/Mitch Brown

6\. Benji Marshall
7\. Robert Lui

8\. Bryce Gibbs
9 Robbie Farah
10\. Todd Payten
11\. Junior Moors
12\. Liam Fulton
13\. Chris Heighington

14\. Keith Galloway
15\. Andrew Fifita
16\. David Gower
17\. Geoff Daniella.

Fifita is lucky in the respect we have hardly any props at this point in time because he was pretty bad last night. His laziness around the ruck got punished all the time with quality scoots.

God we miss Ellis & Flanagan as a defensive pairing

What games have you been watching? An uppercut for a pinhead.

So you are saying Dwyer offered alot last night I assume?

Also this forums response to Fifita reminds me alot of it's reaction to Daine Laurie.

First up I am not comparing the two as players. Fifita is a superior player with a better skillset at a younger age.

What I am saying though is that everyone raved about Lauries impact with the ball and were willing to overlook his terrible defence and laziness in the defensive line. Andrew does have those lazy moments in him as well and is slow around the ruck (actually exacerbated by the heavy under foot conditions last night). He also runs sideways alot more than he should. The fend is great but when he fends 3 guys and runs 10m across field and 3 forward that is an innefective hitup.

Maybe my criticism of the two is too much but they both have major flaws in their game that need to be worked on

Major flaws maybe…..So do Farah and Marshall....and there our guns...

Dwyer...21

Fifita....21....

They must stay in FG....

Fifita I agree deserves to stay in the NRL squad.

Moors offers more than Dwyer does on a consistant basis for this season as far as I am concerned. Simon is a mjor talent but is not keen enough to graft out the tough yards as yet.

how long was Beau Ryan meant to be out for?

Geoff Daniela went well last night, could he be used on the wing instead of beau, or a better option than Fitzy.

really need to have a halfback to guide the team.

at times last night looked like a car with no steering.

We are winning ugly but at least we are winning.I think a big strong bench without a 10 minute winger on it will make the balance in the squad much better which might go a long way in making us play better.
This is my team assuming all injuries

1.McKinnon (Getting better each game)
2.Tuqiri
3.Lawernce (was solid at 5/8th but much better centre & at centre gives the team amuch better balance)
4.Daniela (Has speed to burn & defense is not as bad as people make it out to be)
5.Brown/Ryan(I think Brown deserves a starting spot if Ryan is still out.A much better option than Fitzhenry)
6.Marshall (unfortuanatly can not grasp the concept of a first reciever which limits our options.Must stay at 5/8th)
7.Waters/Lui (I know many are not a fan but i think if Lui is out his defence is better than Lazarus or Nichols)
8.Gibbs
9.Farah
10.Galloway
11.Payton
12.Fulton
13.Heighnington

14.Ayshford (Time to see what he can do at second row and he can also come in for Daniella at the back end of games to tighten the defense)
15.Fafita (Sheens was a little harsh on him IMO.hopefully he dosent drop him cause we need his size & aggression)
16.Moors (we really missed his impact off the bench. His return is a must)
17.Dwyer (His lack of expierence is starting to show.Still a massive talent but he has got to stop the silly offloads. He aint no Bradley Clyde yet & probably the man to miss out once Ellis returns)

1\. McKinnon

5\. Daniella

Ayshford is the best defensive centre the Wests Tigers have.
Rarely does he miss a tackle. He comes from some very hard core stock.
State Cup is reserve grade. If you don't believe me get out to Henson Park this coming Sunday afternoon.
I'll be the one supporting the Tigers. :sunglasses:

Except the one on T'eo….tonight....

Watching him celebrate a try made me feel a bit sick....

Watching him shaking his head in disbelief when shaking hands would have perked you up

I am normally in agreement with you Smeg but not this time. Moors had no good reason to be dropped in the last week or two unless injured but he only came good in his last game or two and should've been dropped before then.

Dwyer has been fairly consistent from the get go.

Throughout his junior career Moors was a gun impact back rower and he was rated higher than Pritchard until injuries set him back. His best runs in a Wests Tigers jersey have come from running back rower abgles wide and he has a much bigger motor.

Than again with Ellis out it is likely they will both play

If Sheens is smart he will bring Moors back in. Still don't understand why the poor bloke didn't get a run last night, he doesn't have to play in the front row and would be very handy on the edges in attack.

Lawrence and Benji are simply wearing those numbers, probably rotating between the two spots, or playing one on either side of the field.

Fifita's discipline was terrible last night, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him spend another week in NSW Cup as a result. Ellis out, but we plenty of back row depth, Daniela was quite good in defence last night, whilst Brown is a better option for a starting wing than Fitzy IMO.
