Good to see that Simpkins has been held accountable for last week's disaster!!

We completely lost the ruck when he and Amone came on.

This coach has no long term vision for this club. He is just trying to jag a win to keep the wolves at bay. If ever there was a game to play our rookies this is it (although i thought the same thing last week also}. The exposure to first grade is what they need yet they are getting "developed" in the grandstand again.

Maybe he has seen that their game has not developed to the point that they are able to hold their own or make a difference in first grade.

If only he was CEO, he might look to get in coaching staff that could do that.

Surely young Jake and Tuki need to be in the squad somewhere. Are they not the future of this team.

They are part of the future and given Tuki is 18 and Simpkin resigned for another two years they will get lots of chances.

In a way with the noise around the senior players in the team I can understand now the season is done keeping the younger guys away from the losers , give them a run every now and then so they know what to expect .
The season is over no use exposing them to the attitude that is entrenched in many of these players ,

This could well be the lowest quality game of rugby league this year. That includes ESL and Ron Massey

Oh look, Madge has selected a forward in the centres again ... there’s only one way to slow down a slow backline and he knows it.
The white flag is flying... we’ll still beat the Bulldogs though but winning is not good enough with our For/Against.

If Cini starts in centres instead of MCK that will be the 9th different player used this season. Unbelievable!
Any wonder our defence out wide is shot to pieces.

I like the big fella, he really tried in the last game (will be better for the experience) but IMO he was a passenger for alot of his time on the field. Still picked at 18 suggests he wasn’t a scape goat.

No surprises with that side to be honest. Madge has realised Liddle doesn't have 80 in him and will shift Mbye to 9 in the second half, and Cini slots in at fullback.

Why but? It's just so much easier to have Simpkin on the bench?

I swear if we lose to dogs it will cause me to admit myself to a mental institution

Might be a queue.

That makes him seem so brainless tbh. I understand that should someone else go down, Cini can cover multiple positions but that’s weak minded to go into a game thinking like “what if a player goes down”. Should be thinking “how can I give this attack a boost when they need it”. Understand Simpkin is still a very raw prospect but he’s a run first dummy half. Playing 20-30 minutes a game will do him wonders for his development.

Cini can play fullback, centre or wing...Simpkin...not so much.

I don’t agree with that really. I think Madge is more content with Liddle getting long minutes than we are to have a replacement hooker. Kinda the theme for the season. Growing the players.
All teams that have an 80 minute hooker really benefit from being able to carry a utility.
Mbye and or Cini to me are a just in case selection.

Can’t wait to see Cini at fullback after his last game under the high ball.

Was watching him closely. The issue is twofold. One Brooks was steering the ship and took the ball to the edges all night. He ignored the middle third. Secondly Tuki needs to be more vocal and demand the ball.

How come Joffa got nearly all the deliveries off Brooks?
Blore and Cheek barley touched a ball in a left sweep. Understandably though since CheeKam looks like a dear in head lights whenever he is passed the ball.

Because Brooks can not read a game !
