Clint Hill s a good mate of mine, I was only talking to him last week about his one and only 1st grade game at the Tigers - the last game of the 2003 season. He did go on to be S&C trainer for the Tigers in 2005. Currently now S&C at the West Harbour Pirates plus his other business interests

Pretty sure the Clint Hill you’re talking about didn’t play first grade for the Tigers… so I dunno you’d ever be talking to him about his “one and only” game for the Tigers… might have played lower grade there at some point way back when…

The first grader Clint Hill was an Illawarra boy, still down that way I believe - was playing park footy a while back…

That's what I'm saying mate, It's not.

Same name is all (And tied to the same club coi-incidentally)....
The one that has something to do with Sports, Was around the club from 05/06-08/09 isn't the one that played first grade... I spoke to him a while back, He said it wasn't him, Just a guy that came through the club with the same name a few years before him.
He's tied up with Rowdy somewhere along the way...
Pretty sure that's the same guy Magpie is talking about.

The Clint hill that played for us, Came up from the Illawarra, Went to Canberra after us in 04 and then back home I believe, Playing local comps and working in the mines...

2 totally different blokes.
Unless Magpie is talking about the bloke from the Illawarra comp (Which I'm sure he's not) His yarn about him chatting to him about playing first grade for the club is just that - a yarn...

The Clint Hill I know told me last week how he played 1 game for Wests Tigers in 2003 and then went on to be a S&C for the West Tigers for a few years including 2005. This was in a discussion with a few other rugby coaches - and I have heard this stated before by a number of the club members and players. I have no reason to doubt his story. He originally came from Tamworth. And yes he was also a involved with Rowdy.

Having said that I do know there was another Clint Hill in the club around the same time.

It's not really a riddle, I've explained it as best I can.
I've spoken to the Strength Coach and asked him if he was the guy that played in 2003, His answer was "No, that was a guy that came through a few years before me, With the same name - at the same club"

Top is the guy I assume you're talking about, Lower is the guy that played for us...

As bad as he was, he actually wasn’t the worst 5/8 back then. Had a lethal rubber that set up a few try’s for John Wilson. They had a good combination. To this day, I still rate John Wilson as the most underrated player to put on our jersey.

That's true... I remember that
Whitelegs scored 16 try's that season... Scored in 10 games, 2 of which we won.
