Tannous Sukkar in for Samuela if he's injured.
Bunty first choice bench replacement any changes.
this is actually our strongest team only change i would make is Tavana for Makasini i think Tavana offers more right now with what he has been doing with madden

I think this looks the best on paper and makes us look really strong without any obvious weaknesses. I don't see this happenning due to Benji being hesistant to move Douhei, but do believe its the best team we could field.

Will be 6 Luai and 7 AD, Jock may go to 14 or KOE. Latu has shown he can play in the middle and did a stint at 9 to cover for Api when he came off so he may retain the 14 and hope drops out replaced by Jock on the bench, its a tricky one. AD did a bit more kicking in this game so it looks like his groin injury may be improving. Benji will have to give them a few games in the halves together as they have trained that way all pre season...if they sh** the bed than Jock is back in.

1.Bula
2.Turuva (Luke if injured)
3.Herbert
4.May
5.Makasini
6.Madden
7.Doueihi
8.May
9.Api
10.Pole
11.Fainu (Sukkur if injured)
12.KPP
13.Twal

14.Luai
15.Fainu
16.Hunt
17.Seyfarth
18.Fainu
19.Luke/Skelton

We have to manage our main boys in ADs and Luai over the coming weeks, both will be underdone and playing at 70% till round 10. I’d rotate them both and limit their game times tell then. Lucky to have a guy in madden to allow us to do such a thing.

Big no to Luke he's not up to it

As much as I want Madden in the team, AD has been a victim of his own versatility in the past. He has had good games at centre and has also had really bad games there.

He hasn’t put in a foot in the wrong direction at halfback and has been playing out of his skin. Reminds me abit of Josh Reynolds during his form period at the dogs but probably offers a better kicking game.

I think we start with

1. Bula
2. Maka
3. May
4. Herbert
5. Turuva/Tino
6. Luai
7. AD

Madden on the extended bench and see how we go around the 30 mark

Madden is signed until the end of next year as depth. One game is a long time in Rugby League. Take it step at a time

I am not a fan of using Latu out of dummy half also. Maybe Madden would be used at 9 at some point during the game and Latu at lock

We need to clear the image of Latu being a half from our minds, at least for this season. He is on record saying he wants to be a lock.

It might mean Seyfarth misses out

I certainly don't envy Benji this week.

1. Bula
2. Turuva
3. Doueihi
4. May / Makasini
5. Makasini / Tavana
6. Luai
7. Madden
8. May
9. Koroisau
10. Pole
11. Sa. Fainu / Sukkar
12. Pearce-Paul
13. Twal

14. L. Fainu
15. Si. Fainu
16. Hunt
17. Seyfarth
18. L. Laulili'i
19. Hope

I think Seyfart will be missing this week he's on report but I think Jock and Latu must be on the bench and have two forwards on the extended bench for injuries

Seyfart plays average 15 minutes a game this year I am shaw Royce Sione and Pole could play an extra 5 minutes each

And Latu's defence is amazing in the middle

Maybe a couple of the guys playing with injuries (Adam, big Mak) have a week or two off now we have players returning . It’s a long season
We have a short turnaround to the Raiders Thursday night so player management may come into Benji's thinking.

Any niggles coming out of the game may be rested ie. Samuela, Doeuihi and possibly good time to give Mak a physical & mental break for an 18yo.

Sukkar is fresh as is Luke Laulilii so they would not surprise to be starters and Seyfarth will be ready to rip'n tear with more minutes.

Be interesting whether Taylan will be ready to go opposite Staggs.

Taking Mak out of the backline significantly weakens it

I think he just needs to go back to the wing with May inside him

I am concerned about a Herbert/Tavana pairing if Turuva is out but I hope to be proven wrong

Iam about to get on the bandwagon hers my team

Bula
Turuva
AD
May or Herbert
Herbert or maka , he needs a rest
Luai
Madden
Forward pack the Same unless there is injuries
I watched madden a lot closer this week and I can see where everyone is coming from , it will be interesting how he goes with luai

I don't want to get ahead of myself but can you just imagine the Dolphins beat the Panthers and we win

The ladder is so close at the moment, we cannot afford to lose against Broncos or Raiders. We need to take advantage of our home games.

Sharks at Shark Park won't be easy, nor will Storm in Melbourne. They will hit form soon and it will be a tough game.

Whilst I am happy with how we are going -

We beat Cowboys which was a good win.
Rabbits narrow loss losing our halves, it is what it is.
Warriors game was great.
Parra was a narrow win, although they ALWAYS turn up on Easter Monday.
Knights win was strong but they had Brown and Ponga out (we also had Luai out).

We are now playing top 4 teams from last year

Broncos, Raiders, Storm will all be up to the occasion. If we can knock them over, then we have the right to be talking about finals
