1 to 9 , I like.
From 10 onwards it gets abit murky.
Although , Doueihi at 13 i dont mind either.

I just want to point out , after reading this thread the absolute shyte I copped for suggesting that ADs best position was lock , if he accepted the grind and learned to love the tough stuff …. In February/ January this year…… and I advocated for it for a year before that….
I'll give you credit for that, but I still have question marks about his defence for 80 mins in the middle..

well we are just gonna have to play aggressive with the ball and not play that stupid stuff that benji wants us to play cause ive had enough of it
start playing like the old tigers not a team that looks like me when im playing nrl live 4

Backs OK but only two genuine NRL starters in the forwards in Api and May. We cannot and will not win this game and Titans could easily put 40 or 50 on us despite them sitting in last place.
Surely the WT powers-that-be can see the futility in fielding a side this poor.
What do you suggest.

My worry is his inability to move sideways or turn quickly- he’s like the bloody Queen Mary. He gets wrong footed easily and rushes up and in to hide his poor 1vs1 technique.

I can go back further than 12 months Lestronge.. lol

“Agree. It’s noticeable that our backline looks more fluid when Brooks p lays outside Doueihi as opposed to the reverse. I haven’t changed my mind about Doueihi from last year, his best spot is 13, but he needs to improve his defence, which he undoubtedly will over the next season or 2.

Clearly, we don't have the cattle. A couple of our imports are under-performing i.e Bird and Hunt and we have too many borderline NRL players in the starting side e.g Sukkar, Seyfarth and Twal. We don't have enough quality juniors who are close to being NRL-ready but we have some who are 2 - 3 years away.
We need an injection of probably 4 good, tough, uncompromising forwards. Canterbury and Canberra have got tough, no nonsense packs. We need the same.

Great minds think alike ! Man the abuse I copped for it … anyways … I’m just being petulant … it’s a good thing people are coming around ! I really hope he kills it . Because he’s a gun footy player, who’s forever a square peg in a round hole .
Plus he’s in the centre of the field so if you need his boot he’s there to provide it .

Yes. it all makes sense right? I wouldn't like being a coach because I think they're often making selection decisions based on too many variables making the job not as simple as we often see it, round plug for a round hole type of solution. Not to mention the politics.
