"probably the fastest at the club"

well, now we know who the fastest is i guess

Fastest people at our club r probably

1- Liddle
2- Nofo?
3- THomo/Brooks?

Nofo second?
You’re dreaming.

had the fastest NRL speeds over the season, JAC was #1

and Nofo was #2

Nofo second fastest in the league is so wrong it's ludicrous. I think their speed gun needs a tune up.

The story was Nofo was clocked as the second fastest speed reached during a NRL game this year, recorded with the Telstra tracker, it doesn't say how long it took him to get there, or how long he held the speed, just he reached it

That's correct, I think I remember that game too, we had a massive 100km/ph tail wind behind us too

It was recorded when he ran down Jack Wighton ..so if we had the 100km/ph tail wind wouldn't Nofo have been running into it...?

He was running backwards at the time.....

@GNR4LIFE perhaps the players didn't want longer contracts? Word on here was that it was a surprise Josh even resigned.

New FTA /Fox deals ..that's why ....more money

Got it ...wasn't holding the ball and the air resistance was being broken by someone else ....entirely possible then

Well we get a glimpse of what the 2020 Tigers side will go like with Liddle there for the remainder of the season you'd think now.

From what I've seen if Liddle is our future 9, and Brooks n Benji our halves it's 12 - 16th place here we come.

Is he getting 80mins in reserves?
[/QUOTE]

Jacob Liddle's last game for the Magpies was in round 19. He played 80 minutes, 6 runs (100m), 44 tackles (4 missed), 4 tackle breaks, 1 line break, 1 line break assist. He was very dominant.

@TIGER Liddle's concern is his fitness and physicality. We don't know if he can handle 80 minutes every week in the NRL. In terms of his upside said:
- He has one of the best passes from a dummy half in the NRL, only Cook has a better pass. The halves will potentially play better with him than with Farah based on this alone.
- His running game is very dangerous. I'd put him 3rd in the NRL for that category after Cook and Fainu.
- Unsure about his overall kicking game. I know he is okay at grubbers on the try line. No idea if he has a long kicking game.

Pity he wasn’t on the bench when Farah went down the other night. Ruined any chance we may have had, what was Madge thinking?

Good luck young man your career in the NRL is about to start , it will be a rough ride for a while until you get your footing as it usually is .
Go hard and take this opportunity that has been presented to you !

Great opportunity for him now... For me I think he starts at 9 and he have Reynolds at 14 to cover if needed and also bring a spark of energy that we need.
3 reason for using Reynolds -
1. if fit he would be a good cover if injuries come up and if Liddle starts to struggle with fitness.
2 . We are trying to offload him and what better then to put him on the TV and show that he still has the game and hopefully a team likes what they see.
3. You know he will give his all as he is desperate to play first grade again.
