Teddy and Siro

The drums are beating.

Earlier in the week, the telegraph mentioned the dogs going after a current NRL fullback. Could it be Teddy? Tunks also mentioned this on Talkin Sports this afternoon. I hope not, he could be a great player.

Also a friend (mad Manly supporter) said Manly were going to make a play for Sirro and his brother (Bailey?), and use the Glenn Stewart money to fund it. I dont know where he gets his mail as he doesnt know anyone at the club, but there you go.

Mayer has got things right so far. Lets hope we soon see Teddy and Sirro locked up long-term.

Don't really care for Siro the way some others do. He's alright, but nothing about him screams ''star'' to me. Tedesco on the other hand, whatever it takes he must be locked up. He's going to be one of the only shining lights this yr.

The talk is Manly are interested in Sirro, Just hope some of these Players who have been injured for a while realise how well they have been looked after by the Wests Tigers.

I think you nailed it in your second paragraph… Bulldogs will go after both the Stewart Brothers!

I might be wrong, but didn't Bozo once try to lure Paul over to Manly? He was majorly in love with him for many years through there association in the Green & Gold?

There is no way they have enough to sign anyone else? That is without Mbye off contract this year and will be looking for big money.

and that's only 18 players they have to have 25 in the salary cap. It does not add up, does it.

Like Lote Tuquiri?

This doesn;t really mean much but here's a quote from Teddy in todays paper:

However Tedesco believes the club is on the rise and will only benefit from having blooded young talent earlier than anticipated.

"Since I've been here we've had some pretty poor years," Tedesco said.

"Some of the older blokes have told me that this is the hardest period that they've been through at the club. They are saying it's all up from here and can only get better. That's encouraging for us younger guys. We all know that we're young and still have a way to go, but the more we play together and the more first grade games we play will be beneficial for us and the club.

"Guys like Mitchell Moses, Luke Brooks, Manaia Cherrington, Kurtis Rowe - we have a lot of young guys coming through. It's good that we're all close mates. It's good to see us all coming through at the same time and if we get to play with each other one day it will be awesome."

I'd suggest he is way over on the majority of those players… Like seriously, Stanley has had 4 knee reco's and Brown is a toiler at best. Lets try for $150-$175k Max for those 2!

How do u possibly know for fact that all of these exact individual totals are coming out of their salary cap?

The Dogs are chasing Fishiaahi or Peta Hiku from Manly. I know a Staff member there. He also thought Tolman would go to Souths.

lote played a handful of games across 2 seasons at the end of which he was 34 years old. he was looked after pretty damn well.

Tedesco MUST be given a lengthy extension. The potential, confidence and growth he has shown from 20's to his performances in the back half of last year, nines, trials and game one is phenomenal IMO. His support, on-field talk and ball playing has increased dramatically. Not to mention his defence and try-saving ability, and speed.

I seriously believe this kid will be playing origin in the next few years. If we lost him I'd be pretty damn shattered and would be a huge mistake by the club.
