First time poster so i know ill be shot down for this post. But can confirm Teddy/Woods/Foran have all signed with the Dogs.. who must operate under the salary Sombrero not the cap. All 3 players in the 10 day cooling off period and will be announced once the period has expired. Wont be giving up my source and sources re the Woods deal. If it doesn't transpire i wont post again.

if this is true, the NRL need to come out and tell all fans how the hell they can fit all theres players under the cap. if the top 6 or so teams are allowed to buy all the best talent the sport will die as fans leave in
droves. on another note this may be the best thing for the tigers, a new coach and a new roster, we may actually bring in players who want to get down and dirty.

With Mybe on a rumoured 750k, Graeme and Jackson on 600 ish K per year, the Morris Boys lets play a 400k each, all contracted for next year….. thats a conservative 2.75M
Havent even talked about Klemer and Tolman who are also signed for a long time... lets put 1M between them... 3.75M all up now...
Teddy 900, Woods 900, and lets play Foran at 200k for giggles, that puts their salary cap at 5.75M.
Still need to buy 20 more players with less than $4M. It is expected that minimum wage will be up around 100k, and bulldogs withh have to build the rest of their squad for less than $200k a pop. Think about it... The numbers I put in for the players extending is lowballing all of them.

If this true, as gut wrenching as losing Tedesco would be, it may be a blessing in disguise. We need to rid this club once and for all of the the boys club culture. We're going to have millions to throw at whoever we want, and I have no doubt Cleary will attract quality who WANT to be here.
