Tedesco and Brooks

Slater and Cronk version 2.0? Dare we dream?

Jury is still out on Brooks, but i'm willing to call it now on Tedesco. He won't be far behind the class of Slater in another 2 or 3 yrs. He's an absolute freak.

Bloody oaf mate and when Sirro comes back and Moses comes into the team who needs to buy star players when we can just pop em out.

I just hope that

A) We keep them (Brooks is signed up but the longer we take to sign Teddy the worse I get)

and

B) They keep injury free! When Teddy went down in the 1st half clutching his knee I felt numb… :frowning:

Great talent both of them but the dogs are going to throw big money at Tedesco , I hope we can match it and retain him.

If he keeps playing at this rate and the Tigers can win some matches he'll be a shot. Especially if Dugan and Stewart aren't back firing by then.

I don't see how they could have that much dosh. They just resigned James Graham for four years and signed Fifita recently for massive overs.

Easy they are going to offload Kasiano and Eastwood with a few other players , we will also need to make some decisions and probably cut a few players as well.

Anasta is retiring , Moltzen will be let go and I hate to say it but Rowdy is injury prone and not the player he was should be interesting but I'm confident we can retain him.

We'll keep Tedesco, and we also have the nucleus of a very good side over the next couple of years with some top talent coming through in the NYC also with the likes of Cherrington, Moses, Seve, Liovave.

I've been one of his biggest defenders, but they probably would be well served trying to off-load Lawrence from the last 2 yrs of his contract. Its a sad situation, but the reality is he's done as a player. He'll never be the player he was before his injury, thats the sad reality. This kid is the priority now, whatever it takes they have to pull out the all the stops in keeping him, even if they have to pay him overs. They have no choice.

For those who didn't/want to see it again. This is Brooks' try off the Tedesco kick.

Kasiano and Eastwood would be worth about what Fifita is getting paid together. They're also going after Michael Lichaa and Tedesco would not be cheap anymore either. We should easily be able to sign him though with a few guys off contract that probably won't be getting a new one.

Their combo is reminding me a lot of the 2006-09 combo of Brett Stewart and Matt Orford. Pin point kicking and blistering pace is a deadly combination.

Fair dinkum how can the Bulldogs throw big money at Tedesco when they have Fifita on $850, Graham on $700 and Williams on $600k next year? With the salary cap at $6.55, that's 30% gone for three players, not to mention other rep players like Morris, Reynolds, Pritchard, Kasiano etc.

Come on Grant, lock him up NOW!
