Thanks for the update champion @jadtiger, I'll be watching the replay later (and hoping for the best) but the Irish (the men in green) are a really good team and have been strong for the last few years, so no great surprise .......

And we are mediocre at best. The rugby revival was short lived !

Only redeeming factor about overnight result was Poms coming from 12-0 down to spank the All Blacks 33-19. Yee ha !

All good champion @jadtiger, I've been out and about, now back, and about to stream a game with optimism amid the gloom .....
I hate losing but I try and find the strengths within - a bit like watching the Tigers 😉

Well, the final score was not pretty for the Wallabies who tried hard, but were simply outclassed by a relentless home side in Dublin, Ireland, the score being 46-19.

Just in the way of sad trivia (and maybe an insight into the current state of play re Australian Rugby at the high-rep end, might I add a comment:

"Mack Hansen, the ex-Brumby who grew up in Canberra and was snapped up by his mother's home country, scored his hat-trick of tries within the first half-hour to kick start Ireland's record 46-19 win over Australia".......

Well, I know this lad's family and the truth is he is Aussie born and bred, was a talented junior back coming up in Canberra, playing outside backs and fullback, played for the Brumbies 2017 to 2021, then had an arrangement to play for the Queensland Reds.

At this point, there was a discussion with senior Australian coaching staff indicative that he would not be chosen in the rep team at national level - so he upped and went to Ireland - at their behest, and now is an established test player wearing the emerald green of Ireland.
And so watching him play today, and performing so well, he is (imo) but one of many Aussie stuff ups in player identification.
What might have been .....
