It has only just popped up in the media in the last week, which is why there is all this jumping up and down now, and funnily enough all off the back of ambiguous gossip from the Dogs… His contract isnt up yet, and really this circus is doing Teddys stock no harm, Aoub will be licking his lips, all this free press.

This all didn't start yesterday BnW

They have known since 2011 that his contract was up in 2014 and he was one of our best in 2013

He has been one of our best (if not our best ) in 2014

Key signing I reckon

Anyway Mayer already knows the deal , that's why we aren't hearing anything about this

Wrong Happy he is on twitter asking the fans what Tedesco is worth like all the other CEO's from silly clubs like Roosters and Bulldogs do. 😕

All smoke and mirrors , the club doesn't want to look like the bad guy in all of this

They will say that Tedesco was asking for too much

Is this guy really our CEO ? Doing our best by going on twitter to see what the fans think.
Doesn't he watch the game or respect the coaches opinion ? Does he really need the fans to spell it out for him.
Hey Happy maybe if I start talking you up on twitter you might get a contract. What position do you want to play ?

“It’s fair to say I’ll be in Sammy’s (Sam Ayoub) ear and if James does leave there’ll be big problems between me and Sammy.”

Best thing I've heard from a club captain ever tbh. What a champion club man. Never doubting Farah again.

I'm so retired it isn't funny

But I want the club to stick a dinky di contract in front of Tedesco that is remotely appealing to him before someone else does

Tedesco would be very silly to leave, he's got a good team that will win premierships at the tigers for years to come, not only that but the tigers should be able to field a competitive offer…roosters will be on the downward spiral when SBW leaves and the doggies suck...plus I wouldn't want to play with ennis...and look at the likes of Farah, Brooks, Moses (soon) and the potential Tedesco has running of them, unbelievable, it would be career suicide if Tedesco left!!!

And if we lost Tedesco , do you still think we can win a premiership ??

He is a major piece in the puzzle ,maybe even bigger than Farah or Brooks

I think its the other way around, quality players don't come to the Wests Tigers because it would be career suicide.
Moltzen was silly not going to St. George, instead he decided to stay with his mates.
But then Tedesco is no Moltzen.

Of course we could, but we would have to replace him…but it's much easier just to keep our local juniors (Tedesco). I can't see why we would let him go and if he did leave I think it would have to be for personal reasons...and he looks pretty happy at the moment!!

When I see a CEO on Twitter asking the fans what they think a player is worth that they are trying to resign…to me that's saying we've offered him what we think is fair and he has knocked it back.

You dont seem to realize the state the club is in Simmo

We really have nothing much at all to offer him that will exceed what other clubs offer, as far as I can see

I can only see what he said which was posted on the previous page of this thread….one time only, no 1 priority......

I dont get twitter though 😕

The thing is I haven't even heard of the amount of money the tigers or other clubs are prepared to throw at Tedesco. innsaneink? are you telling me that the tigers cannot afford to shell out the salary cap limit? I remember reading an article where Harry Triguboff stated that he would love to pay players of the like of billy slater to come to the tigers, even better, we have Tedesco a local junior who has the anticipation and speed of slater…let's start there!!

http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-league/league-news/triguboff-id-love-tigers-to-sign-slater-20101211-18tco.html

Guys, I' am fully confident that we will resign him.
I don't honestly think we are any where near the cap plus you have to remember that Anasta will be gone next season and the 200k that his on will easily go to Teddy.

If Benji was still here then yes I will be very concerned as Benji and Farah would take most of the cap.

Just go through our players and compare it to the Dogs, they would not be able to come close to what we can offer him.

Then compare all the top sides in the NRL and look at the fullbacks they have.

Rabbits - Inglis
Storm - Slater
Roosters - Mini and Roger
Manly - Stewart
etc

If you watch the interview that he had with foxsports this morning, he basically said yes I want to stay at the right price. (He has every right to get the best deal possible)

My two cents/

If I was James Tedesco and another company (club) offered me more money, better working conditions, more security and a better team to work with …

And my current company retorted with, "but we're growing, you have ties here, we were good to you, we like you a lot."

My answer would be ... goodbye.

Perhaps while Mr Mayer is on twitter someone could ask him how many players are still owed money from 2012 and 2013 ??

That's how bad things are …..............
