Terrific news for the club.
Brave decision by tedesco.

I kinda feel sorry for Canberra now.
With the money they have now, they could have tabled a bigger offer for Mansour

I was so disappointed by his decision to leave us, what great news he has now decided to stay. Loyalty means a lot. Look out Newcastle this weekend!

Cultured Bogan pointed out to me off site that Mayer is Man of the match during this whole debacle - he has held himself with dignity, poise and grace during this whole saga, whilst remaining a strong leader of the club.

I think a lot of you should be apologizing to Mayer on Twitter.

I just wonder how long James will be out for with all these knife wounds he has in his back

Didn't take long for the auto cue to disappear , did it ??

Oh, so everyone is ready to accept him back readily after all the s*** they've said about him?

There'll be some backflips worthy of the Olympics here over the next few days…

No regrets for the crap I put on him… teddy's backflip only vindicates our reaction... I reckon he spent some time on here reading the posts... So credit to us posters!!!!

hear hear

this news is like winning the minor premiership

If either of you think that anything one us faceless hacks on this forum said swayed his opinion you need your heads read…

Most likely got cold feet after the dream team Stuart sold him turned their backs on him to resign/sign elsewhere. Tedesco would be the (only) $800K recruit expected to win the game week in, week out. Probably decided then that the money wasn't worth that expectation.

Was never leaving. All about leverage. Where's the haters now?

All lovers with open arms now smoking gun. If it was about leverage that's a game that can end in tears, just glad to have teddy back

The tigers prob told him how much of his extra pay would of been going to tax . then living away does he buy a house there or rent ? or stay at tigers and buy a house on still a great wage . Im no money expert but ive heard of the amounts of tax the high brackets can pay sometime not worth it

wow. i saw this on NRL 360 and was just elated!! to me it changes my feelings about the whole team 180°!!!

i was so disappointed when he had signed with the raiders because i had had such high hopes for him as a tiger and now i am really really really happy!

if i have said anything bad about him after signing for the raiders, i regret none of it. i think it was warranted. doesnt mean i cant be 100% behind him again!!

This is it. Tigers will be the team to beat for 10 years straight.

UP THE MIGHTY TIGERS! Oh and wait, does that mean teddy is staying for 4 years?

Lol at smoking gun. I hope to god you're trolling.

I'm ecstatic that he's staying. To be honest I didn't blame James for signing the Canberra contract and it's taken a massive amount of guts and personal sacrifice to change his mind. The attitude of some alleged fans has been embarrassing and sometimes disgraceful. Most of us have been if a situation where we've faced a decision about employment between staying put and moving for better conditions.

I hope these same people have the decency to drop off and stop pretending they're now massive fans of his. If nothing else it's been a good character test of people
