Tedesco Thread || He's staying!

What am I supposed to do with this "Tede$GO" sign I made for this weekend???

Looks like I'll have to add underneath it "scores another try"

Welcome home anyway Teddy, let the Tiger dynasty begin.

Good to see the word filter has already changed back.

The only negative in all this is that I had already put so much time and effort into convincing myself that we won't need him, that he is injury prone, a money grabber, a traitor and that I don't want a person like that in WT colours.

Wow , that is unbelievable . I wonder if he was promised all these other players joining him and has seen them back flip ?
I'm sure Farah was a huge influence in convincing him to stay , i'm sure Farah said don't listen to your Golfing buddies they are nothing but sour grapes lol.
I never wished him bad even when announcing he was going to Canberra , wouldn't be easy for 21 year old .
I'm one HAPPY FAN .

I think it was because of his mates, that Teddy changed his mind. The way Woods spoke yesterday was all class. About a week after telling his mates then still see them every day… It would have hit home.

Woods and Farah are off in origin, Teddy goes. Woods and Farah come back, Teddy stays.

Mayer wasn't wrong when he said Woods was one of our marquee players, on the field and also off of it. He's keen on twitter too at Teddy's decision to stay.

He was speaking to Braith, Benji and Moltz before. Hopefully now he was speaking to Woods, Robbie and the rest of the boys.

Just another reason to get Braith out of there.

That auto replacement in Teddys name was stupid even when he was going….uppercuts to whoever thought that was necessary.

Why dont we all forget about what Tedesco has done or not done and just concentrate on the Tigers, of which he is an important part.
How much class has Potter got, picking his best team in 1st grade this week although being disappointed at some comments directed his way From Tedesco

There's a good article on rugby league live app.. Mayer quoted saying "we made a point of not bagging him when he signed, hopeful he might change his mind"

Very professional, great strategy Mayer and Potter.

Well everyone we just secured our future. Good on you James, I was as pissed off when you left after we backed you through injuries, but you made good. I understood the whole money thing, but as Proctor, Mansour and now Tedesco has shown loyalty isn't dead and footy is still about playing with your closest mates and building together. Great news, this made my week.

Also, great work by Mayer, Potter and co.

Seriously, a year ago we were full of potential, now our future is secure and our stars are starting to shine.

Robbie Farah spoke with NRL360 on FOX Sports tonight about James Tedesco pulling out of his deal with Canberra –> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZbzcegJeKRc

Wow, that happened so fast. Glad to have him on board for next year. I feel a little for the Raiders fans, but the club has benefited from Papalii pulling a similar stunt last year. Oh and Ricky has reneged on contracts in his time as well.

As soon as I saw this my thoughts went to Moltzen and his turnaround from the dragons…
I hope this guy has better luck with his injuries than Moltzen did, but will not be surprised if he does not.
Hope he plays well and stays healthy, nice to see him hang around

Not huge on the back flip. Obviously glad to have a player of his calibre still with us, but I don't agree with the loop hole in the NRL deadline that has seen players reneg on deals they have made. I'd be devastated if the same happened to the tigers with a player of the same ability. Really sucks for the raiders fans but hey happy for something to work well for our club!
