Tedesco to the centres?

Injury free is the main thing. Even without my WT glasses on, if he carries the form that he started this season with, I would have him over any other number one.

Not necessarily advocating it, just floating the idea of a shift to the centres for Tedesco.

Any thoughts?

Perhaps Moses at fullback and a more experienced partner for Brooks in the halves…

This was a loopy idea when it was first pushed to use Austen at fullback instead of Tedesco. It still is.
Why move one of the best fullbacks in the competition to try a completely untested player ,
Sounds like a Sheens selection.
When fit , Tedesco is the best attacking player we have,
On top of that, he is just as good in defence.
Yes , we need a good centre. . But let's not stuff up the one position that is our biggest asset.

Hi forumers,hope you had a great Xmas….

On topic,I have to agree with Russell,we will have a devestating 167 &9 for the next couple of years and as others have said as long as the injuries are few and far between I can't see them in other positions and will get even better the more they play together....

Let's hope the pre season is kind to all players and we start strongly in 2015...

Fullback now the most dangerous position to attack from on the field. Play your most lethal player there I believe. And for us that is teddy

Looks like a resounding no from you guys!

I agree that Moses has the makings of a champion five-eight, perhaps I should have clarified that I wasn't thinking of leaving him at number one for the rest of his career - just looking to fix centre issue and get a little pressure off Brooks/Moses combo straight up in 2015.

I don't think kids feel the pressure like the used to. These days they just shrug it off.

I reckon Brooks and Moses will be loving it, even when they make mistakes they won't care. They will just worry about the next play.

So I say stuff taking pressure off them, let them feed off it and each other.

So Moses stays at 6, Teddy stays at 1, and we find an athletic centre that can take advantage of their skill.

his defence is brutal at times, and that's on a bunged leg/hip.
imagine him back in full flight

Without him at the back any line break against us is usually a big chance of a try, with him there and fit, if it's one on one , I'd back him any time .
I can't remember seeing a fullback that is as safe in defence for a long while( and there have been some good ones over the past few years). And as you said X , his tackles can hurt. He doesn't just pull players down.
I watched the Bonstonkers video on the recent thread about the spine of the team a couple of days ago, and I'd forgotten how fast he accelerates when he is in traffic. I just hope he can get completely over his injury problems , as he is he is amazing to watch.
While Penriths Moylan , deserves the wraps he's received. I don't believe there's any comparison between him and Tedesco.

Moses is gun.

Ok, so Tedesco has #1 locked down..
Spine player.
Won't be any re-arranging

I think you will find X was referring to Lawrence. However, I totally agree with your assessment of James. Judging by previous returns from rehab, if he gets a reasonable hand injury wise from now on, the sky is the limit.
