From the Mouth of Tedesco....Batboy
What a load of Shit....
He's never bagged us - Even when we're struggling he talks as positively as he can.
Has said repeatedly he has a soft spot for the Tigers, they're his junior club,
Gave him a shot and stood by him....
He's hardly the mercenary he's made out to be on this forum
- Just because he left the shit show we're stuck with, and the sour taste that left in your mouth.
Do not class him as a mercenary do class him as pretentious grade a sneaky bloke who has bagged the club that gave him a start who stuck by him when injured. I do know the Management of this club let him and a lot of other players down big time i get the anger towards that, but please there are ways to leave a club and there is the Woods/Moses way.
Only thing I can think of is at a presser, Robbo joked they (he and Teddy) were both former West's legends or something and they both had a laugh... kinda arrogantly but that's subjective. The worst thing Ted did was string us along for months which caused us to miss opportunities to replace him.
I think its likely he is a bit of an ungrateful arsehole....his father is a proper dickhead.
That said, I havent heard him publicly slam the club. He more acts like his career began once he left here.
and AustraliaPl
Played finals for us too. And Origin. I think even he acknowledges he should have stayed.
Except Defeat. From the Mouth of Tedesco....
“It was a good opportunity for me to be at a strong club.
“Obviously the fans are going to be disappointed and upset. They’re pretty passionate and I can’t thank them enough for their support over the last five or so years.
“The club has done great things for me and gave me my start so it’s understandable for fans being upset. It’s all part of the game these days.”
I'll go you 2 for 1....
Your shot.
So you would pay Woods $300k when he has publicly stated he would play with us for $200k?Of the "great four, " Woods and Tedesco OUTPLAYED Brooks and Moses, by so much, it is not funny.
While at the WT they were "origin" and international players. Woods never PLAYED better than he was with us!
Because we have Bula, I would consider Tedesco, Walsh, or Turbojevic at 50k max, as we do not need FBs; we need forwards!
So I would pay max 300k$ for Woods, I would not take Brooks or Moses even if they are at 10K$ each!
WE NEED FORWARDS! 🐅 Spend the majority of the money on FORWARDS, and max 10% on the others!
No, that’s not true. He hit the ground galloping when he left us and only improved as he went. The following is his results in the 2 years directly after leaving us…While Tedesco‘s game was ordinary in his first 2 seasons at Chooks. Had to learn the Roosters/Mini way of Robboball.
Hope Galvin ain't doing the sameThe worst thing Ted did was string us along for months which caused us to miss opportunities to replace him.

Woods played finals with us? When? Didn’t think he was that old 😂Pl
Played finals for us too. And Origin. I think even he acknowledges he should have stayed.
100%Would he have achieved all these things if he stayed at the Tigers?? Maybe a few but certainly not all. And there are people on here still bagging the guy for leaving the club. He was always a great player and he did what was absolutely the best thing for his career - he went to a successful club surrounded by other quality players in a winning environment. He had great mentors/coaches at his disposal as well as support from Politis. He chose a future that enabled him to reach his potential- as much as that reality hurts us Tigers fans, who can blame him!
Not to mention his teeth mate100%
Won gandfinals, captained his State captained his country, won the Dally M.
All of this can be leveraged into a career post football as a speaker, ambassador, expert commentator, author, coach etc…
If you do it properly, the money you made playing sport is a fraction of what you could earn post career.
I remember it well. In addition, Robinson said they would never be back.Only thing I can think of is at a presser, Robbo joked they (he and Teddy) were both former West's legends or something and they both had a laugh... kinda arrogantly but that's subjective.
2011, both finals. I think he was 12 at the time!Woods played finals with us? When? Didn’t think he was that old 😂
