Telegraph has it in for us

Tbh it's Dean Ritchie and Rebecca Wilson - I'm amazed they can even put 3 sentences of coherent prose together, let alone maintain journalistic integrity.

For the conspiracy theorists among us, another 'trouble at the tigers' snippet in the Tele today as part of their 'Sport Confidential' section. Might be print only as I can't see it on their website.
Basically the same non-specific gossip that these guys are known for, though it did mention something about young players and confusing politics.

Yeah just read it but can't attach it from my phone….
It says :
' All is not well in the Tigers lair '
This isn't what you want to hear if you are a Wests Tigers Supporter.
Sports Confidential has been told by several ever reliable source that everything isn't hunky - dory at Concord.
No doubt this will be denied but we understand there is still simmering tension around the Club and some of the younger players are confused about there role and the Politics.

:unamused:..... Give it a rest the Season is up and running. :brick:

I recall that before Christmas, Tiger Torch, who is the only person within the WT who has provided us with reliable information, told us that the team is a tight unit and that things were looking up for this season. He also signed off one of his posts saying that there would probably be more unsettling rumours in the media, and that his advice was to ignore it.

He also told us that he wasn't convinced that JT was the right coach for us, so I don't see him having an agenda.

I think we should put no credence in these anonymous rumours.

I don't see the problem. In fact, I was surprised only 4/17 picked us. If you hadn't got the memo, we stink. We barely missed the wooden spoon last year and we lost our best player during the off-season.

Sources could be: Sam Ayoub. Samuel Ayoub, Sammy Ayoub or Samantha Ayoub?

There was a feature in the Herald about a guy with an interpol notice on him who is currently in Brazil to avoid extradition to the US. Anyway one of the tidbits mentioned he wanted to return to Sydney and was a Tigers fan. I couldn't help thinking if the Tele had the story the headline would have been "Tigers fan on the run after killing friends." Or "International criminal is Wests Tigers fan"
