Since Taylor has now been sacked and everyone has had their say re his coaching ability, the big four resigning etc etc…

My question is, how come the playing group showed improvement last year and came 9th on the ladder,we still have the same basic playing group and it was said what a great year MOSES had and 2017 will be promising, our first game we had a good win and the next two we got hammered, why then can MOSES play like a busted arse and Brooks plays his usual crap with Kev and co and not play as the professional footballers they are???

We can blame Taylor all we like,he is gone, funny how the worst two performances this year co incide with contractual renewals coming up,if I was looking to renew my contract I would have played like an immortal to get the thing signed and then been consistent every game, thats professionalism..if the halves put on a blinder this week then I would say they have been holding back, unfortunately it only makes them look worse than they are as players and humans...says a lot for their manager as well....

TT, the West Tigers fans have already been ripped off big time by Simona's antics. If it is proven that the players have purposely held back in their last two matches the fans would be much more than just livid with rage and it would then be a major understatement to say that there would be an urgent need for a major investigation to determine what underhanded issues the WT players have been involved in.

That will never be proven unless players came out with it…

Some don't subscribe to this idea but I do in that Parramatta had points deducted; Roosters had horrific injuries; Manly; dragons and souths were going through significant transitions. In other words everyone fell over. I firmly believe this year will be a much more competitive season (baring significant injuries).

I believe Phil Gould alluded to this point as well.

**I believe we lost 8 games in a row last year which only ended when we beat the knights and then 4-5 games in a row at the end of the year. I don't believe that is improvement**

Wrong on both counts. It was 6 games in a row and the win came when we beat Souths off a short turnaround after the Raiders hiding. One of the clubs best wins of the last 5 years. And the 4-5 game losing streak at the end of the year is also wrong. After Farah was dropped, the most games we lost in succession was 2.

Fair enough but i've watched footy a long time and the quality of the games i witnessed (ie tigers vs eels; tigers v knights) was very poor standard. to me 4-5 losses in a row is already diabolical…

Also found Gould's article which I agree with wholeheartedly. Especially considering the titans made the finals with more losses than wins...

_Gould said Cronulla were able to take advantage of the competition after several traditional NRL heavyweights surprisingly fell away last year.
"The 2016 competition ended up being a fairly soft competition," Gould said.
"There were a lot of teams that have been at the top of your list there for a number of years – the Roosters and Bulldogs, and South Sydney and Manly – these clubs fell by the wayside very early.
"You could even tell from the middle of the season that the two clubs that were so great at the start of the year, Brisbane and the Cowboys, weren't going to be able to keep it going until the end.
"The Sharks to me were the experienced team, the hard-nosed team that were last man standing.”
You can listen to Gould discuss the Sharks’ maiden premiership in full on the ‘Six Tackles with Gus’ podcast.
"And we saw the emergence over the back half of the competition of the Raiders, the Panthers, the Titans who early in the year weren't predicted to be finalists."
"I just get the feeling that the 2016 competition was a little bit soft at the back end, and that's where the Sharks came through to win the premiership.
"It will be a big test for them to back that up this year."_

Both Brooks and Moses know that the worst case scenario is they get a huge contract from us. Theres no motivation in regards to their contracts being up.

Its the typical Gen Y. You wouldnt feed them. Millennials are worse.

Be kind, we'll be paying your pension one day if not already.

Unlikely, You will probably avoid it by whinging,

Hit a nerve, did I? Be careful not to hit us with the ladder as you kick it out from under you. See, I can generalise about age groups as well…
