Zverev presents a good question regarding the Tigers.

Would you rather be there or thereabouts every year but never win a grand slam or would you take a decade or more of losing but win an elusive premiership?

Back in 2015, tennis stars did a shoot for Nike.

Was a big weekend for some of our next generation kids hitting the circuit.

Congrats to 18yr Maya Joint.

Mentioned her a few times last 18mths, she has shot up the rankings from outside the top 1000 to this week will be entering the top 100 for the 1st time after beating the world #20 Vekic last week.

Maya could be our highest female ranked player by seasons end.

Also Cruz Hewitt the 16yr old made his 1st ITF final on the weekend and will be ranked in the top 1000 for the first time.

Maya Joint will be ranked in the top 70 post Paris at this stage, she just qualified for Rome main draw. Could be top 50 by end of the year as a 19yr old is continuing to show progress.

Surprised if Emerson Jones won’t get a wild card, as a 16yr old ranked 230 storming up the rankings would be a good boost.

Also Jason Kubler has gone from outside the 1000 into top 240 last 4mths, seems laser focused at the moment.
