As a tigers fan I'm happy they've landed such a good player; a prop coming into his prime, and at a great salary to boot.
I admit I wasn't keen on them signing him, but I guess it's unfair to judge someone by their brother/s and I've got faith Benji and Richo know far better than me.
But I confess it niggles at me...
He's 25, played all 24 games last season for the Roosters and is an excellent player: Why would any club - let alone one like the Roosters - just let him leave with a season left on a very manageable amount?
A young prop with plenty of good years ahead of him you don't just let go because you're "going in a different direction".
I don't get it.
Whatever; I tend to find once someone plays well in a tigers jersey all prior concerns vanish, so I'll just say thank you very much Roosters, welcome Tez May.
