Yep he played well yesterday, far better than the previous few weeks. Agree that he needs to focus on more direct aggressive runs and pcms and run onto the ball rather than receiving it flat footed.

come on he has been one of our most consistent. He had one average game being his return game after he missed one after his child was born. Footballers are human too. Yesterday he was back focussed just like he has been almost every game.

He definitely led by example in that last 10 minutes. One particular run where he just kept going. All game he was attacking the line hard, if he could just manage to stay on his feet a bit more it would really help the team gain momentum.

There was a carry he made in the first half when we were on our line with 2 tackles gone and still inside 10m. He not only made it to the line by 3rd tackle, he also took a strong hit up. He only really made 8m, but got a quick PTB. Unfortunately, we kicked on 4th tackle and Madden didn't hit the ball well. But that run could have easily given us 25m extra at a time when we were struggling.
