Test Cricket Draft Game...*Banter Thread...

If the WT Coach, for any unforseen reason, was not to be with us in the future, would Geo be able to allow his Cricket Team Coach be considered to maybe step up to the NRL?

Wests Tigers don't really need a Coach….Jerry would be happy to do both

Extremely surprised when I went through and saw no one had nabbed Anderson

I don't rate Anderson at all.

I don't rate him as a batsmen either

424 test wickets is a different matter though

Averaging over 35 against Australia and South Africa though.

Fair few in that club since the mid 1990's

Seeing as they were pretty much the top two Test teams during that period (India were amongst it as well and admittedly he did OK against them,) it doesn't suggest he did well against premier teams.

Anyway, I'll leave the explanations until we judge…

Don't make me pull up Dale Steyn's averages

just making it clear, we are judging on the player's form POST 1990 right? think players like richard hadlee, botham and kapil dev played a few year in the 1990s (obviously out of form though)

(Only joking tig_prmz, of course we knew you were OK..... !!)

Hey Happy just played my Miandad Card…

Can't believe you missed him...

Alec Stewart was a Legend in the 90's and can't believe he wasn't taken by anyone 😱pen_mouth:

Alec Stewart Test stats :

–---------Matches-----inns----NO----Runs----HS-----Ave------S/R------100's---50's---catches---stumpings
Tests--------133-------235-----21----8463---190----39.54---48.66-----15-----45-------263------------14

Brilliant for a wicket keeper/ heaps of runs

Adam Gilchrist Test stats :

-----------Matches-----inns----NO----Runs----HS-----Ave------S/R------100's---50's---catches---stumpings
Tests--------96---------137----20-----5570---204*--47.60----81.95-----17------26------379-----------37

This guy is the Man , but Alec Stewart more Runs .....i know he played more matches

Ian Healy Test stats :

-----------Matches-----inns----NO----Runs----HS-----Ave------S/R------100's---50's---catches----stumpings
Tests-------119---------182----23-----4356---161*--27.39----49.72------4------22------366-----------29

So i'm expecting Alec Stewart to score better than at least Ian Healy

Brad Haddin's Test Stats :

–---------Matches-----inns----NO----Runs----HS-----Ave------S/R------100's---50's---catches---stumpings
Tests--------66---------112-----13----3266---169----32.98---58.45------4------18-------262----------8

Not bad stats Sabre for only 66 Matches , Adam Gilchrist kept him out for so long......if not could of quite easily had a lot more success.
