Heard today that the Broncos signed Robati after he had met with the Tigers & that they also have increased their offer for Cobbo as he has offers from the Tigers & Dragons but is yet to commit. Also there was no formal meeting with Pangai but there was discussions with Oates, this comes from someone with links at the Donkeys who also stated Isaako won’t be going anywhere as he is in a good headspace with the mentoring he is getting particularly from the Pearl

Little signs like this encourage me. That is shrewd identification of talent. Still lacking in the actual signing of talent but it's a start.

Is it not obvious at this point that we are being used by managers to bump up deals / generate interest / pretend the players have options...?

Literally every deal that **has made the media** we have not landed one of them...Lattrell, JAC, DWZ...now likely these two also.

It looks a lot like managers use us as an option...we come charging to the party ...and then they send their clients anywhere but to us.

Newsflash for everyone, every manager uses any club possible to bump up deals, just depends who they choose and why. For example Milford been linked with several clubs since Brisbane announced they wouldn't re-sign him, but I don't believe Tigers are amongst them, and I seriously wonder how many clubs are actually interested in Milf in the first place.

Hynes a very visible off-contract player yet I don't think Tigers have really been linked to him either, despite a natural fit in our spine.

Very myopic post this one, try looking wider at the general state of player negotiations and media leaks and see just how many different clubs are involved all year.

I genuinely don't think anyone has really improved under Madge. It's my opinion. On your last point, i'm also puzzled why you constantly defend everything. We could lose 50-0 and you'd say "oh but team x lost 60-0, so it's not that bad really".

Blore, Stefano and Laurie were not in the media prior, they were done before any media (Laurie was just about a release date)

JTJ...BJ...Joe O...with all respect, not a single other club wanted them. None. Not one. Even Joe O publicly stated he had zero other offers.

I am referring to the high profile cases...we get linked, we send our leaders, sometimes the CEO chimes in...and, to date, we have missed out on all the marquee / rep level players we have chased.

Garner was a reserve grader during Ivan time only starting to blossom now.

It’s a delusion to just be looking at Madge anyway it’s his network that brings true success.

My feedback for Madge would be to look at his assistant nrl coaches, ceo and board who are letting down

I defend the neutral ground, where I feel an argument is not warranted, even if I don't necessarily support the polar opposite argument.

I think some players have improved under Madge, I think others have not. I think it's a pretty weak argument to suggest nobody has really improved under Coach X, even just statistically it's not likely. Players even improved under Jason Taylor, but then you get into murky territory of exactly who or what is responsible for player improvement.

Some just love the mediocre.

Some might think it's madness to keep the coach. I reckon its just crazy to continually change coaches every couple of years or less. At some point the players have to take the heat. Finally, we have a group that can gel. But again, it needs time. I'm not convinced that either TPJ or Isaako are the answer. I've got to admit, there are times I watch TPJ and Im in awe of the damage he does and his offloading ability. Then there's his temper and sheer stupidity. He's like BJ mark II at times. I've got confidence in the system. Guys are coming through now. But impatience doesn't work - as was illustrated with the Jake Simpkin experiment. If we hold steady, I'm confident we'll get there.
