Bloke has been a superstar for us most weeks

I dont think we will realize until the end of 2021 how much he will be missed

Luckily for me as a Qlder i will get to see him win about 20 MOTM awards in winning Qld sides

Dream on toad licker.

Harry Grant busted his gut for us every week to the detriment of his own game. The nature of his own competiveness at times left him almost flat out. Said more about our team than him as a player imo.

Liddle with a clear run will be asgood as anyone.

I’m just hoping Liddle stays injury free for the rest of his career.

Thank you Harry for all your efforts, second efforts and even third efforts you put in for our club this year. I've really loved watching you play in WT colours and hope some of your work ethic has rubbed off on the boys.

Living in Melbourne I might even start going to some storm games to watch your game in person.

Poor bloke had the body and injuries of a 40 year old by seasons end due to his workload. He will appreciate going back to the maggots, where he won't have to do everything on his own week after week.
Thanks for your efforts Harry, you are one tough little nut, it has been great watching you play for our club.

Harry's determination to tackle every run, back up every team mate in defence and chase every loose ball is unbeatable. His desire to compete for everything will be a massive loss.

That was his gift to us. He showed us why the Storm are consistent winners. He brought to us what he learned in his limited appearances For Melbs but it was enough to show us what we need to do to compete in every play. I hope we are smart enough to take on that attitude into next year.

Harry has given us all a picture of what “effort and intent” look like. I hope our remaining forwards have learnt something from him.
I am sure he will look even better in a team where blokes are lining up to make a run and winning the ruck, getting fast ptbs.
Seems like a great bloke as well, has that likeable cheeky grin and great team spirit. Maybe he’ll come back to us in a few years when we are better and deserve to have him.

I hope that Jake Simpkin is as good as they say, maybe even Harry Mark2.

If he lives up to the potential people speak of he will be Simpkin Mark1.

I think the Tigers scored more out wide because of him, he is such a threat that teams compressed their defence against us, creating more space out wide.

Absolute champion! You'd think he was a born and bred Tigers local, the way he put his body on the line and gave 100% in every single minute of every game. He will be a big loss but, hopefully, he will have shown a few of our players what commitment and professionalism actually looks like. He's already an ornament to the game and I wish him the best in the rest of his career which is bound to be a long and illustrious one.

see you soon buddy. 2022

Interesting thought I’d check out the offical contract info.
Harry is off contract end of 2022.
So your comment would have to be 2023 and we can officially sign him up end of next season.
Interestingly Jake Simpkin is off contract the same time. Liddle can be signed by another club from November this year.
Finally Paul Momiroski is officially unsigned for next year.

I think that you will find Momo had to re-sign with us before the swap deal could be approved by the NRL.

He seems to be a unique character in many ways; he's confident in what he can do and how good he is, but he's not arrogant. Like others, I have been really impressed by his commitment to WT despite knowing his deal here was a short-term one. He deserves every success that comes his way through just being a "good bloke" as well as a certain star of NRL.

Very humble young man. He comes across as a laid back type who is all about ripping in, then having a laugh with the boys. In actuality, he is a footy nuffie. Harry loves rugby league and constantly wants to learn more about the game.

It will hurt a little watching him go back to Melbourne, but I am at peace considering our relationship ended on good terms.
