The 3 things we need to do to beat Parra

1\. Stop the offload

3\. Stop the offload

Fellatio Mateo is in cracking form. When he has hold of the ball we must hold tight, keep straight (dont bend) and stop the (off)load. We must stop him coming, take him hard and put him on his back. Mustn't stop until we are spent.

im looking at liam being the person to stop felatio.

Mateo's had one good game this season…but i do agree we need to stop the offload, some of the most miraculous tries have come from parramatta throwing the ball around

Eliminate the second phase play, Parramatta haven't got anything. Parra rode into the finals last on the back of Hayne running off the forwards.

I think they'll feel the pressure a little more this year, plus they are missing Kingston and he was a key to their success last year.

Make sure Hayne doesn't have room to move. Get right up in his face, and don't watch him run around like other teams let him do.

Parra have a knack of scoring tries from broken/unorganised play. Can't remember who it was against this year but the ball ended up with Luke Burt on the wing on the 5th tackle after losing 15m, he put up a wobbly bomb and they ended up scoring.

Need to move up in one line in defence and stop them from getting into broken play where guys like Mateo, Hayne and Tahu thrive

And another thing, all their backs love jumping for the ball off kicks … Inu, Tahu and Reddy are all dangerous in the air. Shut down the cross field bomb!

Everytime we play Parra they generally score 3 tries after offload after offload & so on
I no its easy said then done
but trust me if they dont offload much the never win!

(unless haynes doing something special)

According to the NRL website, Parra had 19 offloads to our 11 in Rd 3\. We also had more possession (55%:45%) so they were firing those offloads at will.

They Hayne Plane also had 5 errors. Lol.

1\. Kick Dead or Short to Hayne. (Stopping him is easier said than done. But limiting his involvment with broken play is crucial)
2\. Wrap up the Ball to shut down thier Second Phase Play. (Good line speed at the play the ball will limit this also)
3\. Benji & Fulton to run at Tahu all day at pace. (He is very suspect in defence)

Lets hope the Titans lose!!!

1\. Hold the ball
2\. Hold the ball
3\. Hold the ball

Oh and on the last play coming out of our own end….No stupid grubbers....

Defend the high kicks well
Ayshford has to aim up defensively against Tahu, if he doesn't we are no chance. I'd even consider switching Ellis to keep their left side in check.

Rush the line and stop their offloads, and be wary of Burt who is an excelent back up player…reminds me of Hodgo's 2005 form at times. In attack as mentioned here a few times put the pressure on Tahu his technique goes missing and can occasionally be suspect in positioning himself.

Win the ruck!

If we have our defensive line always set, stopping the offloads will be so much easier

Another Great Laurie Daley Quote: "The Team who holds the ball will probably win this game of football…"

Hit and Stick in defence (no falling off allowing the off load) we will miss Bryce in this aspect, he has been exceptional with his defensive technique. Payten and Ellis will lead.

Make Parra attack from set play not broken play. (Kick to sidelines or dead) will help create good defensive line and will also frustrate Hayne making him try to hard. Make them go 60m to score if they offload in our red zone we are in Barney Rubble.
