The 4 worst players in the NRL

@Plato said:
Come on guys - we lost, get over it. Every player out there gave 100%, don't slag them - buy better players!

Are you for real? What games have you been watching the last few weeks? I'm a die hard tiger supporter as well but realistic. this current bunch with a couple of exceptions are pathetic & embararasing to the TIGERS name. We need big fast backs. The boys cannot compete with men week in week out. Potter is a lovely man, but does not instill any confidence in team.this can be seen in conferences after games. no pasion or anger ever displayed. league is a brutal sport. Players & coaches need mongrel to succeed .
Droppy

Look on the bright side, we have probably played the eventual winners into form over the last few weeks; Storm, Cowboys and now Roosters. Bulldogs will lap us next Thursday night. Some team has to be their whipping boys, don;t they? It seems that Keithy and Chrissy and some others have decided we may as well be that team! Think how proud you'll feel when they thank us on GF day!! Now…where did i put my happy pills?

I like Kurtis Rowe.

Is it the way he surrenders in the tackle ?
The way he throws passes over the sideline ?
The way he gets out jumped in the high balls ?
His attempts to pick up a rolling ball ?
His great record of Zero try's per game?
The way he lets players sidestep past ? But I called touch !
What exactly is it you like ?

Are we talking about Benji?
I like his potential.
I had to work last night and missed the game but I assume he had a bad one?
I doubt we lost because of him but yeah…
I'm a fan.

He was hopeless.
He is like Shannon McDonnell 2.0.

Rowe's only problem is that he isn't Tedesco. People were so spoiled at the start of the yr by Ted's form that anything less would be seen as a failure. He's good for what he is, a depth player. If Ted wasn't injured this yr, Rowe wouldn't have seen one minute of first grade, so i think he deserves to be cut some slack. Was funny during the Tedesco contract saga when people were saying they didn't care what he did cos Rowe would end up better. Lol okay.

Both Kieth & Buchanan ran for over 100m against a good pack. They must be doing something half-good.

Because Keith Galloway seems to be the go to man on kick returns, penalty's etc. Any player can rack up 100 meters given that much opportunity of free run.

Sometimes it's now about the meters made, but more like how you made them. What I dislike about Keith's runs is that he always braces for impact. That goes to show he is happy to stop at the defense line & not attempt to break through it like a wrecking ball at full speed (which he lacks).. Just take a look at the mongrels in the NRL & how they run the ball back with purpose.

CocaCola, its as if you plagiarised a post of mine from earlier in the year. Spot on critique of Big Reds game.

Most of the boys are playing with needles and should be off getting injuries treated and u cowards are on here bagging them….

What people said that? I recall some saying that Rowe would be a decent back up plan. Don't recall anyone saying he is a better prospect than Tedesco.

Red dog ,
It's supporters like you who don't help the cause. Heaping praise on slackers is not the way to improvement. Singling out the individuals who are not having a go is the only way forward. These guys are supposed to be professional footballers who get paid to do a job. I'm sure at your work place if someone was not earning their keep they would be on notice , these guys should be the same. Maybe the tigers should offer an incentive program. Have an appearance fee (like a retainer) and then they should be paid according to their performances. Each player should have a KPI every month and that is where the decision lies as to how much percentage of their sign on fee they are entitled to. I know the player managers and nrl would have something to say but I'm sure it would keep the players keen if they had to EARN their cash and not just show up.

Well said, and you are very naive if you think most other teams have don't have players playing with needles etc.

Tbf, i don't think they really meant it. Sounded like it was just said out of bitterness, cos at that point Tedesco was out the door.

A number of the players mentioned all look like they're too much in a comfort zone. KG signed a 3 year deal last year, Siro a few weeks ago. They need pressure, not the comfort of knowing their future is sealed for three years

As predicted, Galloway has a vid on the Tigers' website with the headline "We need to have pride in our jersey". What the f***???? How stupid do they think the fans are for this imposter and chronic underachiever to be given any profile at all? You're the PROBLEM, not the SOLUTION, Keith!!
