No National Anthem to be played before SOO game 1 players have voted against singing it

Is there a state song they could sing ?

Has anyone sighted a Caltex servo that has been rebranded Ampol yet? I believe it was supposed to be happening by now.

I remember the Ampol Ads back in the late 60's or 70's when we had lots of petrol strikes and fuel shortages and their slogan was "why go past Ampol" and the reply was, "because they've got no bloody petrol!"

I probably have but I don't pay much attention to anything really

Same
Until it’s time to fill up

Caltex staff are freaking about it ..many have had no info about their jobs

It’s only being rebranded from Caltex to Ampol
Unless your mates have been stealing donuts they ain’t got nothing to stress over

Actually sorry they are changing from Woolworths to Caltex ..my bad

From what I’ve been told Chevron
( who owns the caltex trademark) will be switching back to Ampol as they believe the Ampol brand will be more profitable .
unsure about up your way ..
Have you got the Sullivans in tv yet ?

Partly correct. US Chevron owns the Caltex brand and had and agreement with Ampol in Australia for Ampol use the Caltex brand. Chevron terminated that agreement in December triggering a 3yr period to change back to Ampol. Apparently US Chevron were not happy with some of the Caltex signage Ampol was using saying it did not conform to the trademark and licensing agreement and so ended the agreement. My understanding is that after the 3yr period which Ampol will re-brand all 177 service station sites from the current Caltex back to Ampol, the US Chevron company itself will again launch the Caltex brand in Australia.
