The answer is right there...

Royce

We have a premiership winning captain, a premiership winning defensive coach and a hugely succesful ESL coach right here and he is not being utilised.

Instead of sending him out to move the witch hats, this bloke should be up in the coaches box controlling what we do. He should be our head coach.

Remember the crop who came through in 2004/5, Royce was right there guiding them. Robbie owes most of his early success to Royce.

That larrikin attitude that Liam brought to the team? Old school Royce.

Tme for Potter to be sacked and Royce lead our new crop of youngsters to premiership success. The answer is staring us in the face.

And to anyone who thinks the players dont listen to Royce…

The first thing he did when he took over as defensive guru again this year was say 'forget about attack, don't focus on it at all'.

We now have the worst attack in the comp. The players clearly listen to the man.

We don't need to chop & change- We need stability. Give a guy a chance. Potter would still be coaching in the Super League if no for his club being financially screwed.
Look at Parra. Chopped and changed staff a few times over the last few years, and it hasn't helped one bit, despite spending up big bringing 'talented' players to their club.
We need a 3yr coaching & recruitment policy to be drafted &implemented. If any personnel needs to Elbe changed, it's in the RECRUITMENT DEPARTMENT ONLY…

What has Potter won? A couple of old smoking medals. Royce captained a premiership winner team and was the defensive guru behind 2005

He is an innovator as well. Have you noticed the formation of the witch hats? Notice how they change each week? That is a bloke who constantly seeks new methods of coaching. Last week the witch hats were 3 meters apart….this week? 2.5\. Inn-o-vator.

Well it looks like it has worked, because apart from one game, I haven't viewed to any really soft tries. The bulldogs game showed up some soft ones (one of those days)… And the Knights game should be written off (obvious circumstances there's with the funeral of Mosese being held only days before...). Otherwise defence has been better. Would like to see it tightened up, when we're defending teams coming out of their half though. Seem to be making to many metres, to easy. I think this can be visibly seen, as largely attributed to fitness shortcomings though.

The rumour is that Roycey was actually the man behind the regular re-arrangement of the gym equipment too (by fax from England)…
Vote 1 Royce!

The man is humble. That re-arrangement kept things fresh. Several players said it felt new having to find everything again, where it was etc.

It definitely worked. Well, apart from having the worst defensive record in the NRL.

Minor technicality though. Minor. Royce has clearly put the D back in our defense. Other teams have to go to the air to break us.

No way he was sacked in the UK what does that tell you , remember what Bennett did at the Broncos sack most of his support staff was severely criticised for it but went on to win the comp the following year that's what Potter needs to do Royce included.

Quick, theyre biting…

Haha love the trolling. You're right though, we do have the worst attack in the comp, but we also have the worst defense in the comp too!!! Was that because the players listened to the offensive coach who said at that start of the season 'forget about defence, don't focus on it at all'.

If the thread creator is Royce Simmons, the answer is so I will not start a petition to get you as coach.

Obvious trolling, but regardless give yourself an almighty uppercut and then continue by slamming your head in a refrigerator door.

Tigertye.

word is Royce is going to introduce different coloured witches hats at trainng this week to make the players think on their feet defensively when he yells, yellow, orange, black, white…...... mixing the colours will keep them on their toes.

If he does become head coach, can he have a clause written into his contract that still allows him to do his "Royces' roundup"?
