I’m still pissed how he shafted Nofoaluma in the play the ball v the sharks .

As much as the Badge was a flop..that particular shafting belonged to Ben Cummins..

If he can help reduce our avg. penalty count / 6 again calls per game by even 10% then this could have huge impact on our ability to win games. I think this is great idea.

Well all we need to do now is to get a few reporters on board
Have a weekly get together with all players and staff and invite a couple of reporters along for some exclusive feel good stories about the players and club in general
Let's try and lift the image of the club through the media, with their help of course , to make the Wests Tigers a destination club 1s1¹for all players
Somewhere plays want to go to play football, not just a place to collect thier pay packet

I like the idea of the team training / field sessions being refereed like a real game.

The saying goes.. the way u train is the way u play.

Plus I have heard GavBadge is a down to earth guy.

I don’t think he shafted us anymore than any other ref. And if he can help in a way where we get penalised less, I’m all for it.

He wasn’t fabulous for us that’s for sure, but he certainly wasn’t our greatest nemesis - I wouldn’t feed Sutton, Klein or Perenara let alone offer them a job!

I like this appointment for a couple of reasons...
Hopefully it will give our guys an insight into little things we would get stung for during a game. Same as everyone has mentioned before.
I also like the Indigenous aspect of it. Regardless of what we think he was a top referee for a very long time (and only Indigenous person??), and hopefully he can be a role model not only for the players in our squad, and club as a whole, but for the community.
If you read the story about him during his younger days just makes you shake your head at what humans can do to each other. Thankfully he came out the other side and can do some good for not only others but himself.

The referees V Sharks the day Nofoalumsa was penalised for not being tackled and playing the ball for the 1st time since 1908 were Ben Cummins and Andrew Gee..

Cummins blew the penalty..
