It was a smart move by the West Tigers' management to invest in Blair this year so that all teams breach the salary cap and Ian Schubert would have no option but to strip points from all teams giving West Tigers a clear run to the finish line and the NRL Premiership. However, I still don’t understand why west have to support & top the salary for up every other team in the NRL competition. This is absolute mismanagement and betrayal of all the West Tigers supporters. Maybe the board members should pay for this.

I must say it was a stroke of genius by Coach Potter to keep Blair on the field (with 7 missed tackles which lead to 5 tries, 3 other errors and a number of penalties conceded) and keep Benchy Marshall on the sideline. Very smart move by the coach!!! But, he has a plan…. that is to give all the other teams a false of sense of security and misdirection. His next genius move would be to promote Adam Blair to the position of Captain for instrumental contribution to the Tigers. Blair is really is an inspiration to all the underachievers in the world. I actually heard from an unreliable source that the West Tigers board are so impressed by Adam Blair that they are seriously considering signing Blair on a 10 year contract worth $8m…....GOOD Move......Give yourself and upper cut..
