Good luck Gibbsy at the Sharks You are a real trooper Hope we see you back in some capacity in the future
He will make one of the best defensive coaches in the NRL once he retires

Does anyone have the photoshop of ryles hanging from a sharkhook after Gibbsy baited him beautifully 3 or 5 years ago? I'll always remember that.

Guna miss the big guy. Will never forget that grandfinal try. Top bloke on n off the park. Wishing him all the best even if hes wearing that sharks jersey.

Hope Gibbsy comes back one day. He IMO was the unsung hero of our success towards the latter part of this season. It is really sad when long serving players such as Gibbsy leave. Especially an '05 premiership player, they are thick and far between these days. Although, if you look at the other teams who won around the period we did, they have barely any survivors from their premiership.

Special mentions also to Tim Moltzen, Wade Mckinnon, Mark Flanagan (who played well in the finals), Andrew Fifita and Toddy Payten.
 
Absolute LEGEND.

I thought we'd miss him massively in 2012, but it came early when he got hurt and our rock solid defense turned to paper. Without Gibbo covering the holes, we fell apart.

He deserved a much better send off….......and he deserves MUCH better than being shuffled out the door mid contract to join a low, low, low joint like Cronulla.

Haha I made that one….might still have it, but doubtful.

We ran out of puff big time.
Saw him walkin down the tunnel on the screen.

Yeh let's let a couple of quality clubmen go so we can keep the quality u20's that were ordinary for the last 6 weeks of the season. Good on you gibbsy you deserved better from the pelicans that run this club.

Tragedy on tragedy. First you get shopped to the Sharks, then you get injured today and we lose in your absence.

You deserved better, club legend. Hope the Sharks are paying you heaps and that the rest of your career goes well.

The second half last night gave us all an insight into next year. We got destroyed up the middle where Gibbs cuts legs.

I feel some lean years coming along.
