Missing a couple days of training this time of year means very little, especially to a seasoned pro like Anasta, and not allowing him a very rare opportunity could create a bit of unhappiness, on the flip side i reckon it would generate a bit of excitement amongst the squad having a team mate play in professional golf tournament.
Like most work places a happy place gets better results this is prob more true with professional sports groups.
I reckon almost every work place would grant an employee a couple days off to play in a professional golf tourny.
I spose setting tough ground rules upfront has it's own set of advantages.
