Great player and even better man. One of the gentlemen of the game. Would have loved to have seen what he could have achieved without the significant injuries that slowed him down. He was every bit as good as Slater and Inglis when he was at his peak.

Before his back injury he was an amazing fullback. The fact he came back from this setback and made it back to the origin arena and won a premiership says a lot about the guy as a player. Comes off as a champion bloke too.
