The crowd

15 years and this stuff is still rampant at this club.

give it another 15 and maybe we'll actually be one club and not a JV.

Very good crowd from the campbelltown supporters tonight who turned up . It's a shame the balmain supporters didn't turn up . We had 16,500 maybe if they turned up we might have won with the extra support for the team . Arhhh well next time hope u turn up . Don't ever whinge again about the crowds at campbelltown

Ahh how do u know the "Balmain" supporters didn't turn up… I don't recall see u survey everyone at the ground. I was there with 5 other "Balmain " supporters... Drop the Wests Balmain thing ... You will sleep better at night.

I'm was there and I'm supposably from the balmain side as I supported them before the wests tigers. Only thing that makes me sick in supporting this side is the wests balmain argument that we always seem to talk about. Also the orange free zone from the wests magpies fanatics was a little disgusting as well. We are the wests tigers black orange and white. Rant over

No one asked where I came from when I went through the gates? How do u know the Balmain side didn't turn up?

are you for real? an orange free zone? how do they enforce that??

I thought it was an impressive turnout numbers wise. Who cares where you came from and who you supported before or now. But the atmosphere was library like. Almost dead. The only time there was any noise was when their kicker was lining up a shot at goal.

They don't. It is just a group of guys all in their Wests gear.

I was wearing my orange tigers jersey and was standing right next to them as were a number of other people. These guys didn't care.

The only issue of the night came from a Balmain supporter who got upset at the Wests chants and started having a go at them but it was defused well with the explanation that we are Wests Tigers and it was not as if they were chanting magpies. The Wests guys were embracing of all from what I saw, so what if they want to wear black and white they and very vocal at getting behind the team.

I travelled to the game from Summer Hill and there were a heap of cars with Tiger stickers travelling down the motorway but in reality who cares where the fans at the game come from it was a good crowd, we all support the one guy lets just enjoy the way the time is currently playing.

Its like our roads/drivers ….they allow idiots on there too, even give them licenses
Even politics....idiots have to be somewhere

This thread started from an ignorant comment and should be deleted. I drove from Ryde to see the game. Why start something out of nothing? People from the Balmain catchment area are just as proud to know that there are thousands in the south-west still passionate about our team

Great effort from all those that attended. There is support in the area and Wests Tigers obviously worked hard - well done.

The best part….we made TRUCKLOADS last night. We only need 6,000 or so to break even, so that additional 10,000 was all profit.

I can see your point ink .
But Underdog is still a wimp , bully , and dog maybe ünder as well.

Too much to drink last night buddy?
You could have come on here, praised the crowd and said well done to all. But for some reason you chose to attack Balmain supporters for not showing up. Did you take a survey at the ground of where people came from?

P.S how are you that goooooorrrrrne that you managed to get a German letter in your post…..

Great crowd. Surprised the official figure was only 16500\. Not sure where you would fit another 3500\. I came on the train from camperdown, by the way.

Showed me one thing, nrl ticket prices are generally too high. Drop the price a bit and people might attend more games. It is too expensive for a lot of people, especially families to attend too often. This is not just a Tigers issue and I must say the league has been trying to address it a little this year with cheap family tickets at the larger venues. For example, the Parramatta v Tigers match over Easter.

These posts will continue to be submitted until we have just one home ground.

sounds fine to me, just some blokes respecting the clubs heritage. probably all grew up supporting the pies together.

If this is true Mayer has some answering to do. To be honest if I turned up to LO and someone from the so called Fanatics told me I was unwanted in a area because I had to have orange/gold to feel accepted, god help the messenger. You gutless low lives.

Yeh spot on PP
Also it doesnt help at Origin time when people will be budgeting to spend up for Origin nght barbies etc…this time of year Origin is always a factor, especially if your going to the game, unless youre loaded. We went to game III last year and its a big whack out of the weekly spend

Im confused both sides are agreeing with me

If both sides agree with your argument it means you are definitely wrong 😕

Good crowd just a pity we need to just about give away tickets to get that many people to a game

Wests 2005 Underdog's a good bloke , mate you are way off on your judgements imo on his character
