Lol at the people asking for Miller to be released after 9 games of first grade.

Two reasons why Sataris If he can't learn to communicate and take control of a game as a 7 he will never cut it

We have Brooks coming through

Brooks >Miller Why would we risk losing Brooks to keep Miller

To me its not about cutting Miller, but I can't see the value of re-signing him given he isn't cracking first grade and Brooks is our long term option.

We have Anasta/Benji/Sirro/Brooks, even Moltzen as depth and all are signed or in our plans post 2013.

Miller is likely to attract attention from rival clubs, I don't think its worth pushing for his services TBH.

Brooks hasn't played a minute of first grade, so where you got Brooks > Miller I don't know.

Having said that, all I ask is that Brooks to be given the same treatment after an equal number of games if he performs as Miller has.

My only reply to that is it seems that two coaches have dumped him after 9 games and many reputable judges on here believe that Brooks is the next big thing

Brooks has a running game which Miller doesn't I believe to be successful as a 7 you need a quality running gme

I can't think of a single 7 who has been successful in the last 30 years who didn't have a quality running game

Even Ricky Stuart who was classed mainly as a passing and kicking 7 showed in the 2nd test in 1990 he had a running game when he really needed it

Jason Taylor

Taylors running game was pretty good when he was at Wests and he didn't need a running game when he had Greg Florimo outside him at Norths

Secondly ,I dont know if I would put Taylor in the same class as Langer ,Johns ,Sterling ,Toovey , ,Kimmorley etc etc

Miller doesn't even look like he could make a clean line break with his running game , has he even made 1 in his 9 games ??

Don't care who goes just want a quality NRL standard real halfback. Until we get one we will go nowhere, you could replace half our team with better players it won't make any difference

Agree with you 100% Tiger. A good halfback is what our team really needs. Robert Lui was the best we've had since Prince

I can't say for previous seasons, but he's made one this year. That's one more than Braith.

Yeah I guess you can call scoring a try a tackle break , but technically he didn't come out the other side he just put the ball over the line

Makes my point though , how many other 7's have only had 1 single line break for other clubs
