The culture of bullying and abuse at Wests Tigers..

Not worth getting our knickers in a knot. Lets just prove our clubs worth on the field and become a contender once again. It is funny how things will change when we become more successful. Look at the sharks!

This report has been written and is true - that can't really be argued.

It is true that a report has been written.

The rest is up for debate.

So now it's the RLPA that has an agenda against the club? I understand why people are very sceptical about DT articles, but what reason would the Players' Association to doctor a report?

Our club had/possibly still has serious issues with player welfare. Great that thanks to our former footy manager these are being dealt with, but it's made clear that the primary source of this bullying culture is the head coach who remains. Those most likely to have suffered from it no longer play for the club - that is not problem solved, but going off people's comments & the club statement it's problem swept under the carpet.

If Farah was so horribly bullied, why was he so desperate to stay?
Get your head out of the sand.

Maybe Robbie was bullied and chased up the scoreboard on that sunny Sunday afternoon and refused to come down out of fear.

Loved him on the field for WT but am very glad he is now gone, it looks for all money that this crap dished up by the Tele has links to a few of RF's "associates". Will be interesting to hear the reports coming out of the Rabbitohs club in the next year or two….......

Hope the Tigers sue the gutter trash rag publication over these damaging, unsubstantiated claims.

Yeah funny that. Robbie always said he wanted to be like the great Benny Elias.
Great player who also will left a tainted legacy bordering treason.
Both will go down as good players but shit human beings.

Due to the defamatory nature of The Sunday Telegraph’s article Wests Tigers will be considering its legal options.

So they should. It's a joke how the media can constantly publish unsubstantiated, slandering rubbish like this and are allowed to get off scot free. I hope the club goes at them with both barrels.

The onus is on the club or NRL to commission a transparent review where players are still offered the same level of anonymity and if what is in ths report is confirmed, heads should roll.

Tigers considering legal action. Do it….

If there is any element of truth to it, well I don't want it dismissed. RF is gone and soon incriminating him for everything that we don't like hearing about the club wont be an option.
I remember an interview with Lote Tuquieri when he went to South's which was telling at the time - relating to injury and recovery times etc
The club should be applauded for its efforts to address player welfare this year - perhaps they recognised that they needed to.

the report is meant to be confidential

It probably was confidential and circulated internally within the RLPA… If you dig far enough, you will find a certain 'ex player' and certain 'player manager' are part of one of the committees.

The way some people on here have *immediately* gone to Robbie bloody Farah as their get-out-of-jail excuse for anything negative about the Tigers is truly incredible. It's like Stalin's Russia. Bad harvest? Blame Trotsky. Poverty? Trotsky. Counterrevolutionary forces in the orthodox church? Trotsky.

Why are you surprised when Australia politics has gone far left.. constant media propaganda re feminism, multi culturalism, marriage rites, globalisation.. Anything said to object to the status quo ends up in ridicule and character assassination..

Even at junior football level. No more points semis or grand finals.. people are taught to be weak in the head and dare not stand up for oneself or mate or god forbid you will be written off..

Same approach at the Tigers and many other organisations.. I even see it my enterprise.. certain managers, bully, lie, undermine and even steal though that's ok as long as you are supported, the little guy doesn't stand a chance.. Hence as I've said before I'm not surprised and even more not surprised with the likes of go..

Australia is becoming more communist than the communists..

Nothing you've said makes any sense at all. It's just gibberish. I won't reply to any further comments along these lines as it will end up in one or both of us getting banned, undoubtedly. I'll leave it with this: it would almost be impossible for you to be more wrong.

I was actually greeing with what you said..

If you think you were agreeing with what I said, you didn't understand what I said.

It's not relevant who, why, what, all that matters is that the players, coaches and administrators best interest are being looked after.

As a society we need to change our perception of mental health issues and make sure every individual not just in the NRL but in the community as a whole is looked after.

Bullying is a problem in everyday life, home, school, Internet and work.

Unfortunately in sport some people may take the pushing by coaches as bullying instead of motivation and maybe some coaches take their motivation efforts to far.

The best thing for our club is that this is now out and if our board is worth their salt they will make sure we are the benchmark when it comes to people welfare.

The said article has now been removed from the Telegraph's on-line publication….interesting...

I can't believe they put the Mosese photo on the front page. Can you imagine his poor family when they caught wind of this story, then find out his photo is on the page to sell papers.

Telecrap has done some ordinary stuff in the past, but this is a whole new level of low. Disgraceful piece of **** publication.

Disgraceful gutter journalism.

Unfortunately those who cannot "read between the lines" who read this article will have a low opinion if the Tigers "brand".

To use a player from 2013 who passed away as the picture/link to their cover story has convinced me that the Telegraph is as low as it gets in regards to tabloid papers

Gee i hope this rubbish story unites our squad for seasons ahead. I know i as a player would be wanting to ambush every opponent every weekend on the back of this immoral and unethical reporting.

So, things were bad, but improved this year and improved so much that some have already said in here, we were ranked 2nd by the NRL in player welfare.

Ok, so what's the point of the DT doing this just prior to pre-season training?

Not disputing the damage has been done …interesting in the fact of possible legal action...

The people behind this publication seeking payback…look its clear who is behind this....Ahh can't wait till we play Souffs and show RF how much he is loved.

When we play Souths it's going to go a long in proving whether there was tension with Farah and the rest of the playing group, because there will be a bit of feeling in the game if there was.

As I said before the unnamed players who supposedly made the comments quoted by the DT must be brought to bear by the NRL and interviewed with regards to their contribution/s into bring the game of NRL into disrepute. This is, I am sure, why the DT has taken steps to withdraw the fraudulent article,

It's like somebody posting a rant on Facebook or Twitter, only to realize the repercussions. Sadly for the DT, the damage has been done, Not only should the club explore their legal options, but so to should the Fotuaika family.
